So ME works great on console and horribly on PC. And Witcher 2 works brilliantly on PC but badly on Xbox(for me.)
Theres something in that that's something, but I don't know what it would be. Not irony, but something close to irony.
I fell for hype from the bsn, which painted this game as perfect and infallible, so running into this problem that not even replaying the entire game fixed really blindsided me.
But I'll stop whining.
CDRP is perfect. They are the messiah. They make gabe newell look like EA. All hail our polish overlords. /kidding.
I'll just keep chiming in with small one or two sentence post, and keep my mouth shut outside of that.
I again am sorry for wasting everyones time with my thoughts and opinions. If I knew they would ****** so many people, I would have just done the smarter thing and stuck to being a lurker.
Sorry.
Pray, continue. This board needs more honest problems with CDPR that are not refutable. For balance.

And forgive me if it is in an obvious place, I don't feel much like looking for it tbh.

Almost... I actually do think they could get pretty close. We'll see screenshots before it's out though, so no real reason to speculate.k177sh0t wrote...
Is such a thing even possible?CD Projekt CEO was interviewed by TVN CNBC and had few interesting things to say:
- Trailer represents the level of in-game graphics that they're aiming for.
It's a good teaser.
I think so too. Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313 are supposed to be coming out this year and they already look this good and these are all 1080 screenshots.

So where can you see blog post for updates on the game? I really do want to see if they would update the community on what's going on in game, as some here have said.

- Cyberpunk 2077 will have a much bigger marketing budget than any of their previous games, and they're confident it will be a commercial success comparable to the "big games". The most important market for C2077 will be NA.
- They are about to start talks with publishers about their second title (which will be announced on 5 February).
The last point suggest that we may as well see some gameplay footage from the second title.
Is such a thing even possible?
For a cutscene, sure. Not for gameplay though.

So...if we assume that the classes from cyberpunk 2020 are going to be in this game, which class are you going to choose on your first playthrough?

No idea how they will incorporate these classes into the game, but I think it would be fun to play some Cyberpunk2020 classes I've never seen in any kind of AAA game - a journalist, rockerboy musician or corporate executive could be fun as hell.

Journalist could work like private investigators, but for a media outlet instead of a police department. Lots of investigating crime scenes, fighting off other journalist in shootouts, dealing with crocked cops and private corporations looking to bury secrets.
Course doing this could make them lose their original intent with the classes, but It will be very interesting to see more.
Mine would probably be a cop, just trying to work the beat day by day in this crazy new world of ours.

They might fall way short of their graphical goal. But aspiration is always good. Who truly knows the rendering power and graphical fidelity. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

I'm not too familiar with the whole Cyberpunk setting, but do you think CDPR will do a similar approach concerning choices and how they affected certain "acts" like in TW2?

So if you played through the first time as a human noble you lost your families land in a coop by your fathers trusted advisor, and later you'd meet some lord inside a dungeon who caused the elves to revolt in the city. But if you played the city elf story, you got to be the one who deposed the lord and sent him to the dungeon, and later you meet the man who preformed the coop, but you don't meet the human nobles familiy.
I don't know if I explained anything at all with that post. Sorry if it seems like garbled gibberish.

Not sure there will be acts, as it's open world. Basically we'll be in the same area the whole time, unlike TW2.
I'd personally be interested if they focused more on micro-choices this time, and do something similar to Alpha Protocol but maybe on a bigger scale.

It's hard to know what CDPR's defintion of the term "open-world" actually is. They're saying TW3 is going to be open world, but i think we know that it isn't going to be a seamless sandbox like Skyrim (At least i ****ing hope not).
Perhaps they mean something similar to DXHR or Bloodlines. Seggregated open hubs work better than a seamless sandbox anyway imo.

Do you think there will ever be points in the story where certain classes storylines intercet?
I certainly hope so, and not just in a small scale.
I've never played Cyberpunk PnP before, so I have little knowledge on how the classes work and the overall gameplay, but the way I want it to be is not simply how you get from point X to point Y. E.g. a Corporate wouldn't simply bribe his way through the people simply b/c he has resources. The difference wouldn't be that big compared to a Cop who would use his authority.
I want it to be more complex than that. Not only how you get from one point to another, but I also don't want to be an 'errand boy' in the game if I play as a Corporate. It would be a nice change of pace to be on the other side of the desk, and using the skills as a slick businessman for something different than simply buying gadgets and whatnot.
