I want to see the exact parameters of each class before choosing.

There are a hell of a lot of different classes in the PnP game, quite a few added by the supplemental sourcebooks.

There is a complete list here (pages 1.12 - 1.16)

I doubt Cyberpunk 2077 will include such classes as "Combat Soccer Star," "Dancer/Prostitute" or "Lawyer," but who knows? :P

I certainly hope so, and not just in a small scale.

I've never played Cyberpunk PnP before, so I have little knowledge on how the classes work and the overall gameplay, but the way I want it to be is not simply how you get from point X to point Y. E.g. a Corporate wouldn't simply bribe his way through the people simply b/c he has resources. The difference wouldn't be that big compared to a Cop who would use his authority.

I want it to be more complex than that. Not only how you get from one point to another, but I also don't want to be an 'errand boy' in the game if I play as a Corporate. It would be a nice change of pace to be on the other side of the desk, and using the skills as a slick businessman for something different than simply buying gadgets and whatnot.

I so agree on this! This is an aspect that is truly important, especially since we are talking about Cyberpunk!

It's good that the game is open-world, since that way it will be much easier to work on implementing different strategies for each class. And when I say strategies, I don't mean "Stealth" or "Run and gun". A Cop doesn't need to go shooting or sneaking in, while perhaps a Fixer or Netrunner will. Well the possibilites could be endless.

@naughty99 Wow! That's really a handful! Doubt there will be that many options, since a PnP game the possibilites are limitless.

Do you think there will ever be points in the story where certain classes storylines intercet?

I highly, highly doubt different classes will get different storylines. It'll likely be something like Origins in DAO, or race in Bloodlines. Gives flavour, nothing more. What you're asking for is SWTOR level of class differentiation, and CDPR don't have a spare 300 mil lying around.

I'm not asking for different storylines for each class. What I meant was that said missions in the game remains the same, but depending on specific role you have chosen, the order in which you come to a specific location and what exactly the objective(s) of the missions are changes.

For instance, if you play as a Cop your objective in a mission is to arrest a drug dealer. If you play as a Solo, you're objective is to protect the dealer, and so forth.

The missions are all the same, but your motives why you are there and what you are doing would change depending on the role and possible choices you make within the game. That way, even thugh each mission will be same in subsequent playthroughs, the experience will still be unique with every class.

If one of the included classes is 'apostitute' I'd pretty much have to buy the game.

I only saw the one where a bunch of soldiers were shooting at a bulletproof cyborg in slow motion. Thought it was kinda meh, but hey it's CDProjekt and also cyberpunk so hopefully it turns out good. As long as the controls won't be similar to Witcher, that is.

But she had armblades! Blades, coming out of her arms! And didn't you like her sexy revealing panty shot? Or her indestructable latex one piece minidress? Or the guy, wasn't he cool looking in his members only jacket uniform zipped down to his navel and phoropter headgear?

Sorry, I said I wouldn't complain or be negative anymore, but most of this stuff is just things I noticed that made me laugh. This isn't meant to try and bring down moral, this is simply observations with the intent to be humorous by pointing out strange quarks of the trailer.

That said, I wonder if I to can get a members only jacket when I play as a cop?

That image made me wonder if the entire premise of the game is to shoot gay dudes in the future.

The sad thing is that ME3's trailer was like that lol. I always feel that EA's trailers are so actiony and devoid of any seriousness.

Would you buy a game that if the trailer was a 20-second "Soap Opera in space?"

Not really, but EA's trailers just make you feel stupid or maybe their content feels stupid, I don't know.

No one is saying you have to like it. CDPR said from the oustset the game isn't for everyone. Much in the teaser is a nod to the pen and paper system created in the late 80's, where style and sex appeal are part of the game's lore. But there's more to it than that. Thousands of pages of material. Just like there is to the Witcher series. Not that the BSN needs convinving.
