New Sci-fi sandbox RPG from CDPR is coming! It's called Cyberpunk 2077.

Without victims to portray, some people just aren't content.
This woman is obviously in a superior position to everybody. She is calm and methodical.
So SICK of stuff like this being blown out of proportion by people with agendas to paint everyone and everything as victims.
The only victims on screen was anyone but her. She was dominant, fearless and in utter control.

Holy Christ. It's a goddam teaser. Look up the definition of tease. What the hell did you want from it? From a trailer for a game that is 3 years out?
Tell you what. You find me a trailer for anything that is 3 years before the actual release of the product that has more substance and information than the CP trailer. If you can, i will aid you in your unrelenting ****ing. I'll be your ****y wing-man.

LOL, you guys are so fun to interact with. So easy to get into a frenzy over the lightest of humorous observations on the setting.
I can make fun of what I want to when I find something worth making fun about. For instance, I can easily make fun of any teaser trailer at all, no matter how awesome.
Sorry if the fact that a person can like and look forward to something, but still maintain high levels of skepticism, doubt, and a willingness to point things out when spotted, is really strange to you.

If being a cop turns out to be one of the classes, then I'm just going to go for regular law enforcement. If regular even exists in that city.

She was recruited by the psycho-squad; a police force dedicated to stopping augmentation initiated psychotics.
The people she killed were civillians.
People get augmentation in CP for a variety of different reasons. It could have been cosmetic, career oriented, safety oriented, it's not explicit.
If you actually went to the site that the trailer advertised, you'd know this. And again, it's a bloody teaser, not a novel. It is inherent in a teaser for there to be little exposition.

I wonder if she was really recruited? It seemed to me like there was more to it than just that.

I was pointing out how meaningless the guys complaint about sexism was by bringing up things I legitimately was more interested in knowing than what that article or whatever had to say.
And thanks to this thread, I got those answers, so I am one very happy poster. Thanks.

Why is she later seen working with the cop character?
Did you even read the description?
"The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member."
I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to it though.
A bit more info on Alt.
"A brilliant Netrunner and programmer, she invented the beta version of Soulkiller, a program that would make a digital emulation or copy of a netrunner's mind. Saburo Arasaka kidnapped her, extracted the information from her, and made a more deadly version that would simultaneously fry the netrunner's mind after backing it up, allowing a Sysop to interrogate it at will. They then used it on Alt since she was of no further use to them, but her digital "ghost" broke free into the Net."

It's Cyberpunk (genre) dude. It's a sub-genre that is defined by a distinct combination of elements, which leaves little room for innovation.
The setting will not be original, know that now. The game is based off of Cyberpunk (game), which contained all the elements of "generic" Cyberpunk (genre). But **** originality, without the dystopian setting, grimy surroundings, corporate control and augmentation being a point of moral contention; it wouldn't be Cyberpunk (genre).

That quote has me intrigued. I'm not new to the cyberpunk genre, but I don't know the PnP Cyberbunk very well, so I don't know how that plays into it. Either way, if the creator is happy, I'd say that is a good sign.

Seems like im not the only one to spot it either. The folks on the official forum also found it interesting enough to start a thread on it.

I thought the Witcher was crap, and I definitely will not buy the Witcher: 2. The trailer, though, looked really awesome and makes me want to buy Cyberpunk. I might give CDPR another chance just based on the trailer.
As for the article, he does bring up some good points in the comments section about how she looks submissive (he speaks from his standing in the fashion industry, or so he says). Either way, the video game industry is male-dominated, so of course, they have to advertise to males first and foremost.
