New Sci-fi sandbox RPG from CDPR is coming! It's called Cyberpunk 2077.

Her 'submissive' pose is a reference to an illustration in a Cyberpunk manual, I believe. And to me it looks more like resignation. She realizes what she's done and knows she's f*cked. I'm just wondering if it's actually Alt Cunningham.
I agree with your main comment.
Regarding the bolded, as someone uninitiated with the world of the PnP game, anyone know where I can get caught up regarding major characters and story elements (other than Wikipedia lol, I can do that myself).

I thought the Witcher was crap, and I definitely will not buy the Witcher: 2. The trailer, though, looked really awesome and makes me want to buy Cyberpunk. I might give CDPR another chance just based on the trailer.
As for the article, he does bring up some good points in the comments section about how she looks submissive (he speaks from his standing in the fashion industry, or so he says). Either way, the video game industry is male-dominated, so of course, they have to advertise to males first and foremost.
I like both Witcher games.
The way that blogger describes it, makes it sound like some kind of p*rn pose, and that's not what I'm seeing. To me she looks kind of lost, like it is just starting to get through to her what she has done. Her pose is not submissive. Her back is straight, her shoulders are not slumped. Her posture doesn't look like that of someone "beaten into submission". It doesn't look like she has no choice but to surrender, that she is forced to give up fighting. It is very clear that bullets do not harm her at all, which could mean she is actually more powerful than all those tough guys shooting at her.
I think that the sadness in her pose is that of someone who has just lost her humanity, and realizes it.

So after watching the new video I know realize Pondsmith needs to make a cameo in the game.
Yep
Maybe as an npc that looks like him, voiced by him and looks half a cyborg

Yep. Somehow.
They're even talking about that on the Cyberpunk forums. I'd say a narrator, or a DJ. Hell, maybe a character who owns a game shop somewhere.

In the article on there main page........ you can tell there is excitement in the air.
Also that interview was really enjoyable, it's nice to hear someone just talk about something without using buzz words or trying to create a force need to play something, you know, just talking like we are all people and he is just giving an honest overview without a marketing filter.

"When I heard that CD Projekt had picked up the license to do their thing, the thing that they have proven so adroit at doing, it is reasonable to say that I freaked the **** out; when I heard that it wasn’t a regular old licensing thing but was actually a collaboration with the Cyberpunk dude I lost what remained of my ****."
Priceless.

I love what he says in the interview. " were looking for someone to develop the game, but not cheap out or change it around or stick the label Cyberpunk on it and do something different. CDPR were quoting things from the material that I'd forgotten." Game developers which are fans, awesome combination.
I really like the sound of Cybepunk 2077, I've always wanted to experience a more openworld cyberpunk game in a huge urbanconnerbation, which you can explore more, without comprimising the storyline too much.

That's what should be ideal for games, not a bunch of suits who "know" what everyone wants but in the end their only concern is their income statements.

When you get caught (as "not killed on the spot") you have very few options. Most common is chirurgical "deaugumentation" to the point where you can grasp what is to be human, then you are plugged to braindance as a sentence - a new penitentiary system - a year or two (or more) of braindance adjusting and youre out.
Or take new occupation as one of the max-tac team. If there is enough hardware left in you to warrant such offer. And if the psychological profile says one can.
Braindance can be a lot of things, for example implementing a disgust towards guns and violence. Next time you see a gun you will feel uneasy... taking it to you hand can cause nausea or pain even... all thanks to subconscious reprogramming by BD.

Quoted for truth. It's why CDPR has replaced EAware as my provider of story fix. There is genuine effort, and its not a bunch of suits making mandates.

I always love seeing the process of how these things are made. Also, I personally prefer the Adam Jenson style arm blades (and arms, I like when cybernetics are not completely discrete) that they seemed to be considering compared to the one they finally used, but thats just preference. Both look very cool.
