Dang, they may have thought they found the error in the original weapons. looks like it may be more complex than that. Might be a value bugged along with the weapons that's keeping this from working properly.

I just teste ULM and it seems to be working. Tested with Drell Vanguard and Quarian Male Engineer and its working perfectly.

It's been working with my Hurricane as far as I can tell on both my AA and HFV.

Edit: I use a phalanx VIII alongside the SMG, so I will have to test it with one of my Krogans with heavier weapons.

People don't need to be d'bags about it though.  Sometimes fixes cause new problems.  Let it be known and move on.  As for the Vanguard fix, that wasn't for the charging into the horizon glitch.  That was just an assumption.  Still needs to be fixed though, because I would really love to play Vanguard one of these days.

Damn. I really want a sidearm aside from the GPSMG right now that is light as a feather. I'm getting sick of that thing.

Hey at least from what I can tell the reave sound has finally been fixed......so I guess that's a plus.

Too bad about the vanguard glitch, though I haven't really noticed if ULM works or not.

Weirdest thing is, it works fine in Single Player.

If by "fixed" you mean "removed." I played my drelldept about four rounds today and never heard the SFX once....

Has anyone tested the GSMG with ULM to make sure its still working at least with that gun? They might have broken the gsmg when trying to fix the other ones.

Comedy gold. I can forget about ULM as I never use them, but vanguard glitch... Something is really wrong with Bio's QA, if these two glitches are not fixed.

I confirm the ULM are working ONLY on the geth SMG, but that's useless, the geth smg is...pretty weak.
I do wanted these blasted ULM to work in order to use my hurricane as a CQC backup weapon for infiltrators and adepts, but hey, not all wishes become true <_<

I don't know what is wrong in your end, but here its working fine with Hurricane.

Edited:

Okay. I saw the problem now. ULM not working. I'm confirming with SS in a minute.

I haven't tested it in game, but it is still very broken from what you can see on your character screen. It *appears* to work for all the guns now. But, switch characters and then switch back to the ULM character. You'll notice that all the power recharge times are reset to non-ULM numbers for ALL guns that are not the GPSMG.

So... none of the major bugs people have been complaining about have actually been fixed, even though they said they fixed some of them. Wunderbar. The new toys are cool, the game is still fun, but jeebus...

Yes, well, remember the face import issue? We really shouldn't have expected any better.

Should I even need to download the patch whenever it comes out for the consoles? These dudes are putting out an empty patch.

Honestly, I remember hearing about it, but Idon't believe I've actually run into it.  Maybe because I didn't go too far from the canned faces.

Whew good thing I read this thread, it looked to me like it was working. Bioware's trying pretty hard to make it look like they fixed it.

Umm... it does work for me. Ability cooldowns do change when I apply ULM. For example for a level 1 Krogan Soldier Fortification (with no extra skill points added) CD is 4 seconds with GPS X + Hurricane I. Add ULM and it drops to 2.48 seconds. Same effect with a Hornet on my Adept, etc etc.

In fact I did, and changing class back and forth and whatnot had no effect whatsoever on the CD. Didn't try restarting the game though.

EDIT: I would've tested in-game but in a bit of a hurry to go to town - but I guess if everyone's saying it's not working then it's not, just seems that my display bug doesn't manifest with simply changing classes like it seems to for some others.

Haha, and play a dudeShep, I assume? Because the funniest thing about the bug is that default femShep doesn't import.

But basically they changed the way the facial animations work, so they couldn't just import faces 1:1 the way they did in 2, they had to rebuild everyone's face from scratch. But the algorithm they used to generate a new face code from old face data didn't always work. Sometimes it threw an error and wouldn't let you import.

So they released a patch that "fixed" the issue.

Their fix was to remove the error message.

So, ULM getting a fix that doesn't actually fix the mechanic, but does fix the display, is perfectly in keeping.
