Thanks for bringing this issue to light, OP; also thanks to Riferno for testing.
I thought some of my CD's last night were on the longish side.
This is a serious bummer, I was seriously hoping to give all my caster classes a Hurricane/Carnifex X loadout with 200% CD. Alas it will have to wait.

I guess that if this isn't an issue for the GPSMG then the issue relates to how the weapons themselves are encoded in the game; perhaps it has to do with the fact that GPSMG isn't available in SP, and the bug relates to how the weapons are ported from SP to MP? Just a bunch of conjecture.

Still no word from BW. Nice way to avoid the issue.

If it dosn't work for most people, then it dosn't work; people who say otherwise are diluting themselves.

ME3 has the more glitches than any game that I have ever player, which is saying something since I have been gaming for over 20 years. It's very sad, ME3 could have been a classic, but now it's just a classic fail.

I don't know, because apparently, there are even more game versions. Origin has downloaded 4 different things since yesterday. 1. 27mb something (I still don't know what) 2. the patch
3. rebellion 4. a few minutes ago. ME told me that I can't join a friends game because we run different game versions. I close ME, look for updates and wait (the download had to be small... didn't even see the progress)
so... I go back to multiplayer, equip my asari adept with a hurricane, switch to a different character, switch back and it shows the correct cooldown.
But as I said, I didn't get a chance to make a proper test in game

In regards to the 1 meg~ download, do you have a custom coalesced?  If so, that would be it.  When checking for updates it'll replace it with a vanilla one.  Make sure you keep a copy of your custom coalesceds as a backup.

oh thanks, that could be it. anyways " equip my asari adept with a hurricane, switch to a different character, switch back and it shows the correct cooldown. "
if the patch is "working", wasn't it supposed to show the cooldown without ULM?

Pretty underhanded of them to say the bug was fixed when they actually just made it harder to notice.

Yes, well, remember the face import issue? We really shouldn't have expected any better.

Honestly, I remember hearing about it, but Idon't believe I've actually run into it.  Maybe because I didn't go too far from the canned faces.

Haha, and play a dudeShep, I assume? Because the funniest thing about the bug is that default femShep doesn't import.

But basically they changed the way the facial animations work, so they couldn't just import faces 1:1 the way they did in 2, they had to rebuild everyone's face from scratch. But the algorithm they used to generate a new face code from old face data didn't always work. Sometimes it threw an error and wouldn't let you import.

So they released a patch that "fixed" the issue.

Their fix was to remove the error message.

So, ULM getting a fix that doesn't actually fix the mechanic, but does fix the display, is perfectly in keeping.

Femshep, actually.  And darn you for posting a response I want to respond to when I'm comatose. :P

ULM never worked. The patch, release yesterday for PC was supossed to fix it. Some people are reporting the problem even with the patch. A video showing the issue is somewhere in page 2 or 3.

Checking in game on an AA without a stopwatch it feels like ULM is still broken, however, I do not have a Hurricane so it is hard to tell. To be sure I will have to check it with a stopwatch which maybe more trouble than it is worth unless, of course, I get a Hurricane.

So... I just found something interesting.

Check Chris Priestly thread about the patch. There is a mention to a ULM fix. But if you check the changelog available in Games > Mass Effect 3 > Game Patches (here) there is no ULM fix(at least I can't find it, its a long list).

What the hell is going on? They did something with ULM, but did not fixed it, so why Chris Priestly posted a fix and BSN did not?

I always defended BioWare when it came to this game. There is lot of hate in this forum already and I'm not a whiner\\hater\\troll, but considering months of no fixes... This is just disappointing.

Well that actually makes me feel slightly better. It means they did test it, found out it wasn't working after announcing the fix, and accordingly didn't add it in the changelog.

They should have had Chris make a post about it though. Now they just look lazy/unprofessional.

I feel exactly the same way.  As a pretty vocal IT'er I've been saying for months that "bioware sucks" doesn't hold any water.  ...  It's getting a lot harder to defend that stance after this patch.

Im sure ULM fix was on the page. Maybe they secretly removed it:bandit:

Oh yeah, the patch page no longer lists the ULM as one of the fixed issues.

At least we know that Bioware actually knows about the issue, even if they are inexplicably silent.

Still, the Vanguard issue is still listed as fixed, which it is most certainly not.
