Harrier should outperform both, though. Shame Bioware made it unobtainable for 99% of the playerbase.

Mattock is great. Not only is it viable on gold, I believe its an uncommon?

Yeah but that doesn't mean its cut off from 99% of the player base.
Just hard as **** to get.

By what?
If you meant the first line, I'm just stating that the Revenant and Mattock deal acceptable damage and are decent weapons to use.
If you meant the second line of my quote, I'm calling the Harrier 'unobtainable' because it's ultra-rare, and unless you play all day, every day, spend hundreds of dollars on PSPs, or get insanely lucky, you'll probably never get it to drop. The chance of getting any specific ultra-rare out of a PSP is something like 1% at best. That'd require something like 140 Gold games if your luck is average. If you don't play much or can't handle Gold, it'll take months to earn the 10+ million credits that are statistically required to get that unlock. As for ranking it up...lol, let's not go there.
So it's not technically unobtainable, but as far as practicality is concerned, it might as well be.

seriuosly thuogh, would you rather they never add another ultra rare item? That just seems kinda silly.

Eh. I had mixed results until I got it up around 6 or 7. But this one does nearly the same damage w/ a much higher ROF (unless you have a turbo controller or something
So basically if you could click fast enough, Mattock'd still be better? It really depends how you fire though... if you're basically sniping with the Harrier, then I don't see why Mattock wouldn't do it better.

I'd like them to add ultra-rare items, yes, I just object to the item they chose to make ultra-rare. If the Krysae worked better and had a bit more power, it'd have been a better choice. Or they could have made more gear items that could be ultra-rare instead.

I'd rather not see another ultra-rare added. Ever. Rare's are bad enough with the GD character cards you get for the 100th time (you know, AFTER you already maxed it out).

Revenant is worthless on the higher difficulties....I'm still trying to find a decent AR for my Solider class....I was using the avenger but Its no good on gold.
Any suggestions?
Mattock, maybe Phaeston, or just level up your Revenant to VIII+ and try it again.

Harrier is pretty bad for most classes, maybe on a Geth ot Turian it would be good.
^ This, since I saw someone's only justification for it being amazing was "Turian Solider".
FYI that person, a gun becoming better on one species in one class does NOT make the gun itself awesome. It's still not very good on 99% of other classes then.
And that is why I can't use my Revenant on whatever class I want without fail miserably Just too heavy and doesn't deal enough damage by itself...

@vonSlash: Krysae X with Sniper Amp 3 using Male Quarian Infiltrator was 2-3 shotting Phantoms on gold with tactcal cloak (sniper rifle bonus rank 6). Not sure why you think it should be stronger.
