I know they are free and what not but are people acually playing these. I know I dont want to waste my time or hard drive space with anything mass effect related anymore
You're here now. What else are you really good at failing?

I plan to when I get home from work. Its free, MP is fun and there are no other good options right now. Id be on Diablo 3 but I'm kinda sick of it right now since hell difficulty seems incredibly imbalanced.
That reminds me, in my first playthrough of Diablo 3, Leah had some dialog which she had to go and do in the Commander Shepard voice.
That depressed me. Stupid Mass Effect 3, making games that have nothing to do with you depress me!

If only there were a multiplayer forum where hundreds of people have been talking about the DLC all day long and their experience playing it.

Is anyone really surprised that these MP DLC's are free? Personally, I'm not after examining their business model, which is inherently morally bankrupt.
Their calculation is as follows:
Offer Free DLC --> Placation of fanbase and supposition of massive download numbers --> Only offer the FUTURE possibility of unlocking characters downloaded through DLC --> supposition of massive Spectre pack purchases at 180 MP points per.
If they get one idiot to purchase 10 Spectre packs trying to unlock their characters, they've effectively paid for two-and-a-half to up to FOUR free downloads.
Let's not revel in their profiteering masquerading behind sincerity.

If you ever give in and try the weak and clunky MP, add me to your Origin friend list: MariaCalibanThe Angry One wrote...
Not playing ME3 so downloaded nothing here, I have no interest in it's weak and clunky multiplayer anyway.
Headshots with friends is good for the soul.
