I haven't downloaded anything except the one I was tricked into downloading (Eden Prime). I say that because I wouldn't have downloaded it if I had known the stunt they were going to pull with the ending.

As far as downloading the MP. What's really sad is, while normally I don't play MP, during my play through of ME3 I was actually considering trying it out. And that is saying something for me to even consider it. But after I finished the game, I was so mad (still am) about the ending that I refused to even give MP a try, or DL anything. To me, they did it to themselves with their own trickery. I won't let them get away with it. I'm not downloading anything except the EC. I will, at least, give the EC a chance.

But I believe the very reason the ending was cut short, with no closure, was to make us want to play more (In the way of MP since that's all there is). So for me to play the MP would be like saying it's ok. You give me this crappy ending and now you want me to reward you by playing your MP? I don't think so.

Nothing against you guys who like, and play the MP. If it's ok with you then I hope you have lots of fun. Good for you. I really mean that. I just can't let myself do it.

One look at the pages of the announced DLC and the DLC is now live. Suggests that this thread is irrelevant. Yes people are downloading them... It's free and above all it's mass effect. Regardless of how your life or childhood was ruined by your views of the ending. The game goes on. I find the MP fun because of the ability to be a different race of alien. And free dlc is always welcome.

Not quite. Of course both threads will be polarizing. People who downloaded will be in mass there, people who didn't will be in mass here.

The relevant part is to check the amount of people in each for relative time of existence of each thread.

Sorry, my attempts at humor mostly suck. At the time I have no desire to play ME3. When the EC comes out I'll most likely download the MP-DLCs because I'll have to play mp anyways and having more maps makes it more interesting. And they do look like tons of fun. Which I hate you for Bioware. Stop making me want to play ME3 when I want to stay mad at you.

I´m momentarily playing little ME, but that´s because of other issues. And I don´t really play that much MP anyway...but I still dlled the DLCs, can´t really do any harm ^^

OP, you would be surprised how many people actually play the MP that have never played the SP, alot of COD players have come here, thats on ps3 anyway, met alot of people that only statred on me3 aswell

Nah, I went through a few weeks of keeping my GR at 100% by playing a few MP rounds infrequently, but I got bored of it fairly quickly. It was a reasonably fun little horde mode, but I didn't like how slow to acquire and random the reward/upgrade items were.

Haven't bothered with any downloads/upgrades since I stopped playing it.

It's not the greatest multiplayer in the world, but it can be hilariously entertaining with the right group.

I did with Resurgence but then after that gave up. I hated the MP anyway.

I can't even get into a group anymore so not really playing "Multi-player".

Solo map running, I do from time to time to test my skills but beyond that? meh.

I most certainly am, I didn't like the ending with the catalyst... But im guilty of having a lot of fun saving the galaxy playing a non-shepard character...

Every now and then... It's a nice break from other things and you get a chance to play other characters and customse them..

Didn't get the DLC, haven't played ME3 since April IIRC. Dunno anymore. I'll see how EC goes, then decide how I'll go on with my support for Bioware.

Downloaded and played them because I enjoy multiplayer. It's divorced enough from the whole SP game that it doesn't bother me too much (I've no desire to replay SP). Of course the fact that it is divorced enough in feeling is a bit of a problem and a sign that there's no good reason for MP to be there, but it's fun.

I got the DLC and love them both. I hated the ending but the MP is surprisingly fun and why the hell shouldn't I get my $$$s worth out of the game. If you haven't tried the MP, you should. I don't like MP anything and have always been a commited single player only guy but it's totally worth a look, having a blast with it.
