Is cannibalism the new fad now? Does that mean chinos are going away now? And generally the metrosexual look? I'm getting sick of it.

No. It just means we can look forward to the world being overrun by insane metrosexual cannibals who wear chinos.

Just read The Sun, that killer from Canada.

Wow. No second thoughts, just put a bullet in him, the article really disturbed me.

No. It just means we can look forward to the world being overrun by insane metrosexual cannibals who wear chinos.

Come to think of it... This thread is making me hungry all of the sudden for some reason. Anyone want to catch a meal with me?

Don't worry, the van can't unlock from the inside without my keys so there's no chance you'll accidently let in one of those scary cannibals we've been hearing about lately. There's also no windows in the back in case you want to hide there so they can't see how... delectable you look.

I read a delightful post about this topic on another forum. For your benefit I will reproduce it here:

Why thinking these events are a premonition to zombies is a linguistic fallacy:

Imagine the characteristics that constitute a zombie. Let's enlist[sic] some.
p1: Eating [human] flesh/brains/acting cannibalistic
p2: Resurrecting from the dead/Being undead/similar
p3: Moaning, growling
p4: Generally looking ugly, but hey! That's a walking corpse we're talking about.
p5...p6... etc.
Now suppose we collect all the characteristics define a zombie. In which case a zombie (Z) would be a being possessing such characteristics.
Thus Z={p1,p2,p3...px}
Now when someone sees some of the characteristics in the group zombie, let's say p1, p3, p4, and p8 assumes the interconnection of these elements into the network called Zombie. BUT! These characteristics are connected with each other only in media. Movies/comics/stories etc. And their original source was someone's imagination. Thus the connection between {p1,p2,p3...px} exists only in an imaginary form with no real counterpart and is thus dismissed.

Another such group of whose elements are connected to form its definition as well, but the difference is the[sic] at this connection is assumed by observation of the real world, would be a bunny.
B={q1,q2,q3...qx}
Thus when we observe a creature which possesses q1: fluffy, q2: being a color that is considered normal for bunnies, for example not green or blue, q3: pointy ears. q4: having a nice pink or black or brown little nose continuously going up and down, q5: running fast, q6: being a cure little bastard, we can assume that this is a bunny.

Now similar to the zombie case. Suppose I create such an imaginary group. For example a Zblormbie. Zblormbies are imaginary creatures who r1: make people commit suicide, r2: make the weather rainy and moody, r3: make the birth rates in an area fall, and so on having
Zb={r1,...rx}
If you actually observe such things occurring in some place, you can assume that this place has been infested with Zblormbies. The difference between a Zblormbie and a zombie is that the zombie is poplar enough to have registered as a possible entity into the mind of enough humans.

tl;dr: you registered a connection between some traits that constitute an entity (a zombie), with no counterpart in reality. So there is no logical reason to assume such a connection.

its all a plot by the Dark Gods to corrupt humanity, anyway. only Faith in the Blessed God-Emperor of Mankind shall save you from the lies of Chaos.

Wrong. MOVIE!!!

That's for situations involving homicidal
Southern English country folk who have organised a cult dedicated to winning
the 'best village of the year' award.

To any British guys here take the proper advice; get to your local pub, bar the place up. Pull
yourself a pint and wait for it all to blow over. As seen by the master in this
demonstration:

Not sure if these kinds of cases are becoming more prevalent, or if they're just being discovered/reported more often.

As an update, the naked guy who ate the guy's face?  Well, he didn't eat the guy's face.  Just chewed it off.
