Same problem. Worked fine before patch and DLC download. Tried running as admin, but no avail. Did everything support said to no avail. They are kicking it up to senior techs. This is obviously a glitch with the patch.

Hi Everyone, suffering the same issue, damn shame seeing as I was really enjoying the MP. If someone could invite Corkycrat I would be eternally grateful, thanks. And come on EA at least acknowledge there's a problem!!!

I get to the lobby and connect to a game ok, but it just quits the game and says I lost connection. Holy crap EA, pull your head out and fix this.

Tried joining a game, but I had no luck with that. Instead, I was just informed that the Mass Effect 3 servers were unavailable.

After going through three different employees (all ridiculously lacking in english writing capability) and several tests - from UOTrace reports, launching both Origin and ME3 with admin permissions, running the game in Win XP compatibility mode, turning off firewall/antivirus, closing all running processes with my user name, to launching Origin's repair for all DLCs and the game itself - everything's the same, as it won't start the multiplayer and simply disconnects every time I try.

EA's latest employee with whom I talked to, came to the conclusion that it all seemed fine on my end, and that nothing could be done for now, except to wait, while my case is escalated to the higher-ups and the tech team.

Curiously enough, I mentioned several times that I never had any issues prior to updating the game with the new DLC, but all three employees ignored that while simply proceeding with what seems the usual process with connection problems and troubleshooting.

And now, I wait, either for their email or some response here.

Same thing happened to me.

Just wanted to add my voice to the choir. Had the same issue as everybody else, and the Friend Join method worked just fine. Thanks to rabidchipmunk for the assist. Anybody else who needs a hand can friend 'Forgedbow' and I'll be happy to help.

Just had this happen to me on wave 10 of three gold matches in a row.

To say I'm frustrated would be like saying the ocean is a little salty.

OK, just got through 3 runs, earlier I had the disconnect issue again but it was while in the store. Just get an invite from someone to fix it. Do not go back into the store before you go into your friends lobby (it randomly gives you that option from the announcement of our victory packs), or it'll put u in a blank menu (buttons are outlined but no text viewable at all.

Single Player does not work as well.
I can load my game ("resume") but will get a black screen. When I press ESC, I can access the menu allright and read the journal. I will not get ingame-gfx. Strange.
MP issue is the same as with the other folks in this thread.

I had same issue - black screen after resume - but then exit to main menu - and resume again and all goes ok

anyone online right now that would offer me an Origin invite so I can get into a lobby? absolutely ridiculous that this problem is persisting 36-48 hrs after it first popped up. further proof that EA/Origin has no respect for PC gamers.
