edit - fwiw, dropped conn occurs much less frequently during the wee hrs 12:00 - 5:00AM (-6GMT)

Got the disconnect error several times
yesterday after patching and dlc - mainly in the store. Started a game
up this morning and didn't even get to finish wave 1 before being
disconnected.

I've tried repairing the install as well as completely shutting down and restarting my computer. Neither one has helped.

I am still having this problem. Invites have not fixed it. I can play but I can't reliably host because of the disconnects.

Besides not being able to get into MP something has happened to the savegames of singleplayer also: I started the last two regular saves after patching May 31st and all I got was a black screen. Then I noticed that I still could hear the interacting sounds on the interior of the Normandy and yes, initate conversations, but the screen remained black.
Only the autosave that lead into the interactive cinematic of the final ascent from earth to Citadel was okay.

[edit] After the invite fixed my MP experience I loaded the before-mentioned savegames. They are working now again as intended: no black screen.

OK guys, thanks to Riot86NRW, he tried to help me, but it didn't work. The funny thing: I get a message that the server is unavailable now, but the ad for the DLC ist just working fine.


I have to quote Alistair: "You know, one good thing about the Blight is how it brings people together."
It's probably the same with this issue and the community - it brings people together.

Thanks KuroFye for the invite! Everyone who's still waiting just add KuroFye and he'll pop up in the "in game" section of your friends list (once he accepts your friend request, I think), and you just join the game through there.
