1. Clear Save folder.
2. Launch the game. (Dont use the Cloud storage in Origin!)
3. Play multiplayer.
4. Exit the game.
5. Return old saves. (In my case i gave them old correct names)
6. Profit.

Know how you feel. I tried the add a friend fix and that failed to work. Getting desperate just incase the packs have an 'expire/collect by' date.phoneixxineohp wrote...
I am still experiencing the issue. I haven't been able to get in multiplayer for 5 days but I can still access online features fine. I'd really like to collect my commendation pack
Could someone add me please? Origin ID is Kainzy

I didnt read all the posts, but I fixed the problem by deleting old saves (actually i renamed all files in Save folder). Procedure is:
1. Clear Save folder.
2. Launch the game. (Dont use the Cloud storage in Origin!)
3. Play multiplayer.
4. Exit the game.
5. Return old saves. (In my case i gave them old correct names)
6. Profit.
Worked for me! See you all on the battlefield
Edit:
Just for clarity. I renamed my saved games folder temporarily until I could log into MP properly. I didn't wipe them outright!
The default path where saves are stored is Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\Save
Just change the name of the Save folder. Then play MP. Then change the name of the savegame folder back to 'Save'.
The game may have created a new Save folder while you were logging into MP, but that can be safely deleted and replaced with the old folder by restoring it's name.
Finger's crossed it works for you all aswell

This WORKS. Nemantic you are a star.
All I did was rename the Saves folder in C:\\Users\\<windowsusername>Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3 to SaveX. I then started MP and collected my victory and commendation packs. Thanks man, after 5 days+ of not being able to get into MP, your fix did it.

After you get into Multiplayer successfully, exit the game and rename the Saves folder back. You should still be able to get into MP after this.LennethValkyrie wrote...

Didn't work for me. Nothing works. Now i'm REALLY pissed of, i've spent 50 bucks for this game and i can't play it without begging my brother for half an hour of his pc..? WTF Bioware, hurry up fixing this.
I've tryied everything, even removing regedit entryes for mass effect 3, nothing worked.

Thanks a lot Nematic!
I hope Isendel111 also can solve his multiplayer problem (or better, Bioware solve this for anyone). After all, four days trying and helping everybody.
EDIT: And Thanks for all who have been trying to solve this problem since four days ago, like WolfyBrandon, KuroFye, Isendel111, Nematic (again), etc. The Bioware should send messages of thanks for you.

It didn't work for me either. Come ON Bioware, what are you doing? I don't even.

Renamed the save file "SaveX" logged in, entered multi player without any problem, entered single player okay as well. Went back out, renamed the "SaveX" to "Save" again, and the whole issues seems to have disappeared. How bizarre!
Edit:
As has been mentioned previously, you don't need to do anything with the actual saved files, just rename the folder!
(found here: C:\\Users\\[User]\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3)
you can delete the new "Save" folder created when you log into the game and rename SaveX afterwards.
