Double-checked cloud storage... already disabled. Still freezes or loses connection at the 'joining game' spot.

It didn't work for me. It constantly becomes disconnected in the middle of multiplayer. This issue started after downloading Rebellion. Right now, remaining connected in all eleven waves and getting to extraction is a miracle.

Seriously, it's been almost a week since the thread started, and there's still NO REPLY from Bioware? Not even along the lines of "we're not sure what the issue is, but we're looking into it"? That's quite outrageous...

I'd like to thank the community for their never ending support for one another, on a game we really shouldn't be having to try and fix on our own. The initial fix of having a friend and trying to join them in a game did the trick for me.

Miraclemight, if your on Windows Vista or 7 have both Origin and ME3 run as administrator, if that doesn't work try an install check, and force it to check for updates afterwards. Post your results whatever happens, as someone here may have some other ideas on what might be wrong...or Bioware/EA might see it and add it to the "to do list".

Cant even connect to multiplayer at all. Atleast some of you guys are lucky and are being able to play atleast 1 match.

EDIT: That mentioned fix only worked for half a match.

And really, don't expect a BiowarEA statement or fix anytime soon. Remember DicEA's Battlefield 3 Multiplayer PC lock-up ? .. Exactly. They never released an official statement or a fix.

Thanks for the tips, Outamyhead, but unfortunately they didn't help.

I'm on Windows 7 and thus far, I have done the following:

- Reinstalling Mass Effect 3
- Checked for updates
- Set both Origin and Mass Effect to run as administer
- Started game from Origin. Got disconnected in the middle of a wave.
- Started game from shortcut. Got disconnected in the middle of final wave.
- Hosted a game. Got disconnected again...
- Tried changing difficulty to gold. Got disconnected again.

Granted, I've noticed that I disconnect a lot more (and in shorter intervals) when I'm playing as a Cerberus adept. I had less problem yesterday when I was playing with Resurgence characters. I haven't tried the vorcha yet, so I don't know if it is a common problem for me among all Rebellion charcters, or just Cerberus ones.

Another thing I've noticed is that I almost always disconnect a few seconds after using a heavy lash-melee.

I keep disconnecting during the game, it's been a while now, it happens every 2 or 3 games, and sometimes 2 games in a row.

I am also having problems playing MP in ME3 after applying the latest DLC. I keep getting the same message "You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server. You must connect again to access online features of the title". I have followed some of the advice provided here.

1. Tried tunning game through Windows explorer and running as administrator. Unsuccessful

2. Tried checking for updates and reapplying latest updates via right clicking on game icon in Origin. Unsuccessful

3. Tried a repair installation via right clicking on game icon in Origin. Unsuccessful

So far I have attempted to play the game for the past three days and still have had no luck in getting on MP.

Uh, on the previous page, there is a fix for this. Well, at least a fix that worked for me and several other people.

I have had no luck getting on multiplayer as well. Tried repair, updating, rebooting, even reinstalling the game to no avail. Mass Effect 3 is a good game, but seriously Bioware get your act together!

Had the same issue, talked with some other player and i added him to my friends list using origin, he then proceed to invite me into a multiplayer game, and after that i was able to connect to the multiplayer with no mayor issues. who knows whats up with that...
also i think there was a Bioware post buried somewhere in the middle of this thread saying they where looking into the subject... but so far no oficial fix on this issue

The method mentioned in the previous page didn't help everyone. I, for example, got disconnected in the selection screen. That's a record.
