Yes, I will buy SP DLC if it's really good and if I'm still interested in the ME series by the time it gets released.

I will.

But it is no longer a day one buy for me. More of a "whenever I get around to it" buy for me.

I'd buy SP DLC, I'm glad they are giving the MP away for free though. I just don't think I'd be willing to pay for it, but then again who knows. :-x

I loved the game and will be playing it many more times in the near and distant future so yes, I will buy every piece of DLC that BioWare releases.

Costumes and weapons? No. Story-related? Definitely. Multiplayer? Probably not.

If the EC extends the breath scene to Shep getting up, ejecting a spent thermal clip, then cuts to a black screen saying "to be continued in DLC...", I'll buy.

Yes, if it’s not Omega related and no more Cerberus troops for sp.

A lot of you guys are talking about EC but I do hope you guys realize that even if EC is going to be perfect, there are still many concerns over any SP DLCs for ME3.

The main question is whether this DLC going to be pre or post-ending? Post-ending DLC means it will have to take into account that your Shepard may or may not be alive, and how will the DLC reflect on this outcome.

But a Pre-ending DLC will have more problems. I don’t want a DLC that parachutes itself into the game, and the game take no acknowledgement of the results of this DLC. Take Omega DLC for example, would the liberation of Omega have any impact on the ending? When I say ending, I don’t necessarily mean the end cinematic, but rather the moment we start the Cerberus HQ mission (point of no return) till the multicolored explosion. If both Aria and Wrex was alive when you got back to Earth, will we find them making out at some abandoned ruins (assuming Aria was the Asari commando Wrex talked about in the past). When asked, Aria would just tell you that she want to see for herself what’s all this fuss is about, while Wrex tells you Aria want to tell everyone, that on the day when the fate of all life was hanging by a thread, she was on Earth, making out with the Krogan “King” within sight of Reaper forces. And back at the Forward Operating Base “Hammer”, will we see few merc NPCs have conversations that we can listen to?

Also during the Omega DLC itself, will we face some mini-bosses from Cerberus? The above concept art is by Benjamin Huen; it is official concept art that in the end was cut from the game for some reasons. But BW can add them into Omega DLC as mini-bosses, and provide more dimensions to the cardboard Kai Leng. Maybe for people who played Omega DLC, during the final confrontation with Kai Leng,  we could have few more lines of dialogue from him, about how you killed his friends, and now killing Shepard is no longer business but personal.

So basically little things that make any DLC more part of the whole story than self-contained story that have no impact on ME3.

If the EC isn't good, then no, I will not be buying DLC.

Well the EC is highly unlikely to win me over so i'm pretty sure i won't be buying any more DLC from BioWare.

I really don't think so, as grimkillah has said if it's dropped into the game and does nothing more than raise EMS, yawn.

Like others have said barring a miracle ME 3 will go the same way as DA2 in terms of DLC quietly fade away due to lack of interest.

I buy anything related to ME universe... I'm liked all 3 games...

Edit: I do believe they will do more singleplayer DLCs... just have faith

Me too remember how long it took for us to get quality ME2 DLC. Hell Skyrim hasn't recieved there piece of official DLC and that game came out in November.

Multiplayer DLC- Absolutely not. Can't stand it; can't stand how BW/EA implimented it.

Single Player DLC- Maybe. It depends on the story and whether or not they ever fix the SP EMS issue.

Absolutely will buy SP DLC as long as it is new missions/characters/stories. I generally don't buy weapon/armor packs as games are already too easy.

The only game I would ever buy DLC for is also the only game I would pre-order, and that's the current TES game, Skyrim which has bloody sucked my soul away.

BioWarEA is one company I would never buy a DLC for due to their way to obvious means of nickle and diming people for their money.  I will only buy their games when they are finished making them and it's bundled together.

My current BioWarEA purchases are DA:O Ultimate Edition.  ME1 ($5 STEAM sale).  I will never buy DA2, ultimate edition or otherwise.  I am waiting on the ME2 Ultimate Edition and will buy it.  I am still on the fence as to whether or not I would buy ME3 UE (if it ever comes out).  It would depend on what the DLC's add to the story, or if they at least complete the story.  I also never play MP so if they don't remove that REQUIREMENT to get the game assets needed in the SINGLE PLAYER GAME I will never buy ME3 just on principle alone.

I probably won't be downloading any singleplayer DLC's. I mean, they pretty much covered everything and it's a bit late in the game for creating small new plots. Althought props to them for adding a prothean to the squad lineup, I wasn't expecting that.

The Prothean wasn't even meant to be DLC, he was meant to be part of the disc.

Again, it really depends on how well Bioware fix the ending. I see no point in paying for DLC that will happen in between the beginning and the ending if we're just going to get that same annoying nonsensical ending.

Depends on what the content is, for example I definitely won't pay for anything multiplayer related. I also won't buy any single-player DLC until the extended cut comes out, if that goes over well I might be open to future purchases.

There's no question that any SP DLC will be entirely pre-ending.  Bioware stated this uncatagorically and clearly.  DLC is PRE-ending.  Full stop.

Most likely many of those systems you saw in the galaxy map that had a reaper on them but that you could not go to will become available in DLC.  You will likely also see some Hammerhead missions in DLC - with the uparmored Hammerhead as what's his name in the hanger bay (gay guy...what's his name?) talked about.

There is no post-ending DLC planned or to be expected.  None.  The EC is a forced exception and it is more of a peri-ending DLC made up entirely of cutscene, NOT gameplay, so it doesn't really count.
