As powerful as this gun can be, I still prefer the hurricane for raw dps at close range. I have not tried it with the shredder mod though, mainly because I assumed it wouldn't work with it.

That's where I get most of my joy from this game.  I love GI with a Raptor, flanking the bad guys that are targeting my team.  The GI runs fast enough to let me kite around their perimeter and riddle it with crossfire.  It's great fun.  

My QI is mostly a melee rez pony, but now I load her with the reegar for after melee cleanup.  

Infiltrator is my favorite class, and the Reegar just gave me a new way to enjoy it.

It kinda sucks against Armor I've found.

Also, you need to pour the whole thing on a Phantom [on Gold] to get just her Barriers down, and if she's flipping all over the place, it's easy to miss with some of the stream.

A single head shot with a Claymore tends to take out said Phantom [on Gold].

I don't think the Reegar Carbine should be weaker. Yes it kills the enemies faster but it has short range and a very low clip.

I think they must have made a mistake when they made the Reegar and the Krysea only Rare, while making the Harrier an Ultra-Rare.
It just seems like in terms of balance it should be the other way around.

Yeah, it's pretty hilarious that a hurricane hasn't been talked about since it got buffed TWICE, yet no one mentions that. Conventions here are pretty much bassackwards. A gun is still OP from ME2? (Claymore/GPS) It's fine. A gun started out gimped and when transformed into a bullet hose of death? (Hurricane) It's fine. A gun starts out strong? OMG WHAT HAS BW WROUGHT ALL THOSE PUPPIES AND ORPHANS KILLED ZARATHUSTRA WEPT.

Three weeks learning the word context and all its definitions should be mandatory on forum sign up.

I like this gun. This Game is Coop and not PvP, so we shall have weapons that make fun and let us enjoy the game. If everything is nerfed down to be weak and useless there will be no reason to play the MP. Keep guns like Reegar Carbine coming.

Does anyone know if the Accuracy shotgun mod will extend the range? Does it do anything for the carbine?

The partical stream devates from your crosshairs less? As far as I can tell that mod has no real impact.
