 I'm level 1158 and I always host. All my lobbies today took a long time to fill, all with N7 level close to mine. Is this right? Now the lobbies are filled with guys that have a level close to yours?


I have two problems with it:


- Clearly it is turning extremely harder for me to fill a lobby, since it will keep looking for level close to mine. I have no problems playing with low level, but I have a big problem with empty lobbies, that will be always the case, since high level is far more rare.

- N7 level don't work, it means nothing, it don't bring balance. There's guys that play since day one, are good at it but still in level 120 to 200. It's a extremely bad and innefective way to measure which play should play with which.


 Anyone can confirm if it is really a new feature? Or it's a big coincidence that only high level joined my lobbies today??


Edit: I stayed with a lobby open when I was writing the topic, Not even a single soul joined it, and today is DLC and patch release, so...

Haven't noticed a change (Xbox), and it wasn't listed in the PC patch list...

So I think you're just running into more people similar to your level.

it's really weird because it never happened. I rarelly find someone with my level. Most is 200-500.

I think it might be that only the most dedicated players have the DLC right now. Most casuals will probably get it later tonight.

More like, nobody's playing because the patch broke their keybindings and they haven't had time to re-edit their files. I had to drop out of three bronze games today trying the Srs Lolguard out because I couldn't sprint and couldn't figure out why.

I played quite a few Silver games earlier, I am around 530, the others were anywhere from 150 to 2,500

Had the same thing happen actually. Most of thier N7s were close to mine. I'm at 700, and was running with people in a similar level. Just thought it was a coincidence.

I noticed this today too - that the lobbies were filling up with 200-something ~ my level. Can't say if it's more than coincidence though.

Clearly requires more testing

Yeah...I've seen the same people join and leave my lobby about 6 times now. One just left and rejoined as I tabbed over before finishing this post. Their ranks are within 10 of mine...

I really hope this is just a fluke.

I'd have it right now and be playing it if I didn't have to be here.  At WORK.  Being very, very jelly.

Noticed the same thing. DO NOT WANT. The lobbies take forever to fill up, if they do at all.

Same here, played a couple of bronze rounds to check out the new maps, and got grouped with players in the 330-340s. (PC).

New "feature" to keep leechers out of gold/silver games?

I joined a quick match, because it was impossible to host a lobby, but for my surprise I fall in the lobby of a level 600, with a mix of level in it. We won one gold, then the host got out and the lobby was passed to me. It was filled with a mix of level.


anyway, today thing aren't normal. Something was changed, I just can't figured out exactly what..

Leandro you're not alone on this one. Same thing with me being rank 1138 and lobbies taking an eternity to fill with people close to my own rank. Bronze, Silver or Gold, doesn't matter which.

I don't think its a coincidence but Bioware needs to make a statement, its killing new lobbies and makes it hard to play a full game.

I have a friend list, but they aren't avaliable every time I want to play. Plus, the public lobbies is a feature of the game it supose to work, and it won't for us, if they add this limitation.

They actually change something. Now if I waiting too long, then PC creates own game without my permission. It is terrible with my phone connection. I definitely dislike this changes. They must return all as was early.

I didn't notice this. My N7 level is a little over 700. I ended up playing with people between 100 and 900. This was on Xbox

No idea if it's because of the similar N7 thing but now when I create a match nobody ever joins. Hosting has become impossible. Also when I search for a match it generally takes a lot longer than it would before.

Something has changed, either a bug or a deliberate change but it needs to be returned back to the way it was.

I've noticed the lobbies are hard to fill far the last 3 weeks at least. I thought they were trying to match me with people my level but when the room fills, its mixed. Is it possible there's more servers and less players? Idk but waiting in lobbies definitely sux

I had the same experience last night. All the lobbies i joined had around the same N7 level like me. It is a bit strange.

Played about 3 Silver matches and 3 Gold matches last night, didn't notice anything different. Sitting at N7417 and was playing with N790-N72000 people last night. Playing on PC.

I still get people in the 100-500's.
