Earlier I delivered both pizzas in Firebase Jade within 30 seconds of the objective starting. That was silly.

I had my pizza fall through the map on Hydra. Needless to say it did not get delivered and we failed.

It's not as difficult as I thought it would be but I can see how it will be really tough on gold.

Funny thing is, the very next match both artifacts spawned on the other side of the map, and Geth Primes constantly spawned in the LZ.

And I'm sorry to hear that your pizza got ruined. Hopefully you didn't lose the breadsticks.

I like it, I find it kinda amusing cause it slows people down to just slightly under Krogan's normal walk speed. So a Krogan grabbing it technically walks mildly faster then everyone else using the objective (doesn't slow Krogan down cause, you know, Krogan).

Definitely easier on maps you can easily hold down near by extraction areas. Just due to the whole walking distance, few of em easiest place to hold is across the damn map heh.

I'm not a huge fan. The whole "can't run, must continue holding button to not drop the thing" nonsense is, well, nonsense. Total nonsense. And the fact that you can't use powers... I get that it's probably 98% to prevent Cloak abuse, but as a vanguard I'm incredibly annoyed, because this should have been to us as 4/4 objectives are to infiltrators. As is, it's instead an objective ready-made for every other tank in the game except us.

It's kind of neat when you get a team that pulls together to pull it off, though.

You can't use powers? Because cluster grenades and Flamer work just fine in my Vorcha sentinel. And I don't have to hold the button either. And can't you drop the package and keep recloaking (haven't tried it yet)?

So far Cloak and Charge both cause me to drop the package. Haven't had a chance to try anything else yet.

We received this objective on wave 10 FBWGG and it went pretty well. I think we got lucky. I just strolled past 2 primes going "Hi, how you doing?" Mind you, a Salarian Engineer had his decoy out and I was using sabotage.

I love it!

Easiest objective ever IMO other than kill targets.

Just don't let the Drell grab it...

Make the Krogans do the heavy lifting!

Cloak drops the package, as does running.
Don't know about Charge.
Other powers seem to work fine. My Engineer could use Energy Drain / Incinerate fine.

And are you sure you've got to keep the button pushed?
I can't remember having to do that in my run.

So far I like it but hate it at the same time. I have had 6 separate games (2 Bronze, 4 Silver) where it has come up and I was literally the only person who touched it. It's like the team didn't know what to do with it as they stood over the freaking thing. Then to my amazement as I walked it to the zone each time....my team was nowhere to be found. Thank god for my new electric death ray gun I had equipped...

charge drops the package.

as for the comment about its multiplayer. yes i know that but the smells completely like they wanted to force player to play the multiplayer content. considering this was an unasked for addon to a single player game you would think EA/bioware would make it more solo friendly.

As it is I have told all my friends, that i convinced to get me1 & me2, to not get me3.

It's another thing that I can lay down cover fire for.

I don't care either way about it, but then again I haven't actually had to carry the package yet...

when i heard it was an escort mission. I was thinking I'd have to save some useless Asari diplomat while zombies chase us. Imagine my surprise when that wasn't the case.
Honestly i don't mind this. Prefer this on round 10 over the often grueling hack.

Does not matter how far it is from the landing pad. Drell/Vorcha/Geth with Adrenaline III get it there in very short order with a competent team. It's why now more than ever I use Adrenaline mods on those classes.

I love it, and I think they should increase it two 3 items to recover from 2. It adds a new challenge to the game, and reinforces the team work aspect. Most of the time you don't need to carry it very far, and an infiltrator can't usually solo it, so it really adds fun to gold matches.

Also a reminder, it isn't just running that makes you drop the item, cloaking makes you drop it also.

I've had the mission a few times on gold. To me it seems just as easy as the other objectives. So long as you know where the spawn points are and are willing to take the long way around, its a cake walk. Don't take the shortest path to hand it in, take the path of least resistance.

A particularly unlucky location combined with a bad team might make it a little difficult, but that applies to all the different objectives, aside from the high value targets.

I like it it does provide a very different objective to complete mixing up the battle some; which many people have been arguing for. On the other hand I think that this should also serve as a bit of a wake up call to bioware to get clean their maps what with the 'pizzas' falling through the floor occasionally. my real complaint is when is spawns stupidly close to the LZ. They should have considered the places where it can spawn more carefully.

As for the one complain about Tac Cloack, Sprinting and Charging forcing you to drop it, I'd retort with a simple "no ****." Bioware wants the carrier to trudge his/her way to the LZ, they want the carrier to need protecting, and they definitely don't want a Infiltrator/Vanguard running over grabbing it can waltzing over to LZ with nary a worry. This is a team objective in a cooperative multiplayer mode.

Noooooo-- you're missing the point! It's an objective NOT designed for infiltrators! It gives people who wanna play tanks an actual contributing role! People should be happy to see a KV show up in the gold lobby for once.

Possibly I just kept trying to run instinctively every time I let go of the key and that's what was causing me to drop it. (I have use and sprint bound separately.) That does make it marginally less annoying, though the inability to Charge is still bullspit.

Except that vanguards tank by charging. <_< It's total crap. I'll spend this objective the same way I spend every objective, running around playing distraction on the other side of the map. They finally give us an objective that plays perfectly to the vanguard's strength - zoom around the map, never stop moving - and they nerf it for vanguards.

Well, apart from kroguards, I guess they're only half nerfed for this.

On the non-tank side, of drelldepts can spam Reave for DR, plus the quick landspeed, they could be pretty clinch at this one.

Did it solo on goddess and once on a 2 man team. Its fun, I liked it. one package was a little too close to the drop off to be any kind of challenge. It adds to the game as long as it doesnt glitch.

drop/pickup rinse repeat. whatever is in the package is so broken by the time i get to the extract point it probably wasnt worth the time to carry it there.

I did this while on a solo run with my Phoenix Vanguard on Firebase Jade.  Thought to myself, "There's no way" but I actually managed to pull it off no problems.
The best thing about it is that if you need to drop the package to take care of enemies, it stays right where you left it.  Essentially you can inch it closer and closer if need be.

The last one was a bit tricky, though, with two bastard Engineers droppinig turrets right next to the second package. <_<

I was able to warp and throw while carrying the pizza, and I didn't have to hold down a button to hang onto it.  It was just "hit action button to pick up, don't hit action button again to not drop."

It makes sense that powers that specifically would make the objective trivial (cloak and charge notably) would be banned while carrying the pizza.

I was almost there too! Just a few more steps and the pizza would have been delivered. I ate the breadsticks:whistle:

To me its another anti-solo objective :).

my human soldier and vanguards can do this. but the other classes, they are lucky to get across the room before being shot to pieces.

Agreed.  While it is a multiplayer game and I also enjoy it best as a team, solo's are a great way to develop skills.  However, walking almost any character out in the open on Gold (I would think Silver as well) with no offensive or defensive capability (and in a solo - no support) is suicidal and develops no skills like those developed in holding a zone, eliminating enemies, etc.  I suppose it is what it is but I tried it on a solo and even killing everything close by first I was still down within seconds of picking it up.

I think most agree that Teamwork is not always that good in "random" games and I suspect the poor chucklehead that picks this up might be using several health packs because everyone else is afraid to join him/her out in the open.  I would think it will work fine in four person games with adequate teamwork but that's not going to be the case in games with just one or two players.

I wish it was removed.  I thought the objectives were good as it was.  Why is this needed?  I know there are many requests for multiplayer additions.  Did a majority ask for this?  Seems like there are many other things that could have been addressed rather than add this frustration.
