I'm new when it comes to scripting, but I found an event i'd like to intercept... only it's not listed in events_h. It is however, listed in events.xls as well as the constants listing in the script editor. So i'm thinking this is an engine event, which begs the question if it's still able to be intercepted and/or even referenced. Because if not then my idea is sunk. :(

Anyone know how it's done?

Edit: Ah yes, it is an engine event because it's ID is under 1000.
Still possible to catch it?

What event is it, and what type of object will it be caught in (i.e. creature, placeable, module, etc.).

Which event are we talking about?

The key question is which object class generates the event. You intercept it in the event script for the object in question (e.g. module, area, plot, creature, placeable, etc).

Haven't been able to find a single scrap of it in script so far though.

The basic plan was to snag when a character first acquired a shapeshifting form, and then give them additional forms on that first point thus freeing up the three other skill points for improvements versus new forms instead of having to spend additional points. Or something like that, im still trying to figure out if this is even possible.

It appears that you can intercept it in a creature script:
