However it wasn't all bad, I was fresh out of survival packs so I got 5 of those plus gave me 5 more medi-gels. So I'm good for a few gold games later on now.

If they really want people to participate for the victory packs, they need a 100% chance of either a promo gun or an n7.  Something that actually takes effort to get.  But until then I'm just going to stick with FBWGG and RRG.

I think someone who maxed a character within 24 hours of its release is still pretty far from the norm at this point in the game's lifecycle. In a few months, maybe not.

We knew the DLC was coming out weeks before the official announcement (bioware loves viral marketing).  All I did was save credits until the new items were added to the packs.  But regardless, even if the game had given me a standard rare that I needed, I would have gotten the equivalent of slightly less than a SP from it, or 1 20 minute FBWGG match.

Getting the equivalent of a 20 minute reward doesn't really motivate me, or many other 'vets', to spend hours working towards the community goal.  Its not a big deal, I just think the rewards need a slight buff.
