Minus it wasn't a last stand. You have to die for it to be a last stand. You don't win.

Total Liberty Prime fan here. He was a complete badass. Who could ever forget: "Warning: Orbital stike imminent...reach minimum safe distance...immediately." Not a last stand for the PC, but yes, very cool.
And in-game footage of the sacrificial death of LP. For a second, I thought this guy was going to cry like a baby:

It was ruined for me when Fawkes survived the orbital strike. It made no sense.
On-topic I have to say Red Dead Redemption, Halo: Reach and Gears of War 3.

Simple, fawkes has like 40,000,000 health.
And liberty prime really was BA and seemed unstappable.

And if you take as much people with you as you got ammo, then it's even more badass.

That was exactly what I hated about him.
The first time I heard "I'M JOHN MARSTON'S BOY!!111!11!" I had to hold my ears because the TV was up fairly loud, and it sounded like nails on a chalkboard.
"Giddy up you ole nag!" LOL Jack.. How I love you... and by love I mean despise.
John Marston and Noble Six are the creme of the crop.
I've had some personal glorious ones while playing Skyrim with the Ultimate Follower Overhaul (allows multiple followers at once, up to 15). I recreated the Blue Stripes from The Witcher 2 complete with my character as Ves. One evening right around dusk, took on about 20 bandit marauders when they spotted me outside Treva's Watch. I had 8 other followers with me, and their blue stripes armor was tempered to exquisite. They killed about 14 or 15, but everyone of my men died. I was left with 5 marauders encircling my duel wielding character, ready to end me. Took a couple swings, and was stabbed from behind. Really tense fight, and one that has been hard to replicate due to the randomness of the Warzones mod.
I digress... Total war series always sets you up for these situations, as does Mount and Blade.

That sounded amazing. You should record that stuff, i've seen people on youtube go mad for a nicely edited vid like that.

the last level from the starcraft 2 wings of liberty for the protoss missions. There is actually no way you can win, it's all about how long you can last before you go under. you are besieged repeatedly be the enemy until you are annihilated and all hope is gone from the universe.
It was a nice one, though it felt cheap as they just sent more buffed up enemies. I just spammed infantry and Carriers.
