I've tried out all the new classes and weapons (except Male Quarian) and I have to say my favourite combination by far is the Phoenix Adept/Vanguard with the Reegar Carbine.
Do not be fooled by the Reegar's seemingly low damage and accuracy. My Reegar Carbine is at VIII and is taking under 2 seconds to kill enemies on Gold. On Silver, a Brute will go down in under 30 seconds. I use the Vanguard more than the Adept, so a great way of utilising the weapon and class is to Charge in, spray the Reegar around and when Smash is off CD, use it. This is guaranteed to destroy everything around you. Lash also does amazing damage, through shields and barriers, and has unlimited range (even when the enemy is not targeted). If you're playing the Phoenix Adept, use Lash to rope the enemy towards you then mow them down quickly with the Reegar. The Reegar uses ammo quite quickly, so make sure you're near an ammo box when you're pool is below 50.
