I have been thinking since I first saw Legion die and think to myself, the ending was bad, watching Mordin die sucked, Thane's Death was pure sadness, but LEGION! That is too far! When I got him I always paired him up with Garrus and we were like snipers united. Now I just get a guy who is full of himself(James), a guy who doesn't shut up about his problems(Javik), A Stalker(Liara), A Racist Solider(Ashley), and a guy who is always stealing my kills(Kaiden). Garrus and Tali I have no probelm with. Legion died a horrible death! He needs to live. I need him on my squad. Take away these other wierdos and put Legion in there. Or at least another Geth who is equally awesome(check our my Mass Effect 3: Recruiting the Geth)

Normally, im up for the idea of characters 'surviving' or being 'resurrected', but Legion? I don't know; it can be done, but it seems best if he stays dead. I like him and all, but it would decrease his worth if he could be easily braught back to life.

If we can get a Legion Copy to push the story .. we should have gotten a Legion Copy to join the team.. hell a Geth Prime would have even been cool.

Legion's death did not make sense, but I say instead, please back Thane, I feel more players were likely more deeply hurt at his violent passing. I expected Legion to be a squaddie, but I expected Thane to survive the series more.

I am talking about a dlc where you can talk him down or get another worthless Geth to do it.

I was just thinking how cool it would have been if Legion had been Infiltrator squaddie in ME3.

Yes, I know, he wasn't an infiltrator in ME2. But I had an idea swimming around in my head about him switching to another "carrier" or something, perhaps due to his original platform being too damaged or insufficient. This could have taken place during the Geth Dreadnaught mission, where you see Legion all wired up to that reaper signal booster.

His new platform could be that of a Geth Hunter, and he'd have cloaking abilities and stuff, and he'd be a pernament squaddie along with Tali. He also WOULDN'T DIE if you betrayed the quarians/made peace on Rannoch.

But this is all just useless ramblings. It didn't happen =P

At first I went in support of this thread, then I've read James and Ashley bashing.

For one, you. Are. In. A. War. Not everyone is going to live. Period. Everyone lives? WOW, THAT'S EMOTIONALLY IMPACTFUL. Not. That's boring. And hideously stupid. In a war, people /will/ die, and some of them /will/ be people you care about. Do I like it? No. Do I wish you could save Thane, or Mordin? Sure. Would I do it if you could? Maybe. Maybe not. Because in the end, for everyone to survive is unrealistic and dull as hell. This isn't a Disney movie, folks.

Am I sad the people who are dead are dead? Of course I am. Mordin's death brings me to tears. Thane's death gets me a little choked up. Honestly, I never betrayed Wrex, so I can' say with him; Grunt always survives for me, but before I knew he would, his 'death' scene was intense, emotional, and powerful. Why? /Because I knew anyone could die/. If not, I wouldn't have cared. 'Oh, he'll live. No big.'

Miranda died on my last playthrough. Was it sad? yeah. Did I change it? Nope.

I have never had to choose between the geth and the quarians, but if I did? Then so be it. it's /war/. It's gritty, hard, painful at times, and emotional.

Go play Final Fantasy or something if you want happy-smoopy-joyfulness. (And yes, I know they can be quite sad, but in a differant way.) 

Also, Ashley is not racist. Also also, you kind of sound like an idiot, OP.

Yes, he should (I'd rather see him back alive than Thane for that matter, although the latter's death was also sad of course) but:
James isn't full himself. Why the hell do you think/say that?
Javik... well, I still haven't got to know him, so no opinion about that.
Liara is not a stalker, she's just an intense person
Ashley isn't racist
Kaidan stealing your kills? What do you mean by that? In my game(s) he died a lot, to the point I did'n took him with me on missions anymore.
