 Hi there,

My friend and I and taken on a pretty crazy bet to back-to-back speedrun all three Mass Effects. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? How long might it take? We were hoping as little as 30 hours but that might be pushing it I'm not really sure... We've got to do it on Hardcore and although we're pretty good we probably won't be able to blow through quickly without dying. All cutscenes and stuff can be skipped but everyone has to survive the suicide mission and neither of us have actually finished ME3 yet... XD

You can do it in 30 hours but your gonna be very very tired. If everyone has to survive the suicide mission then that means the various loyalty missions must be done or it will be impossible to meet that particular criteria, you will need to also research Cyclonic Barrier tech, Thanix Cannon, and Silaris Armor all of which will require mineral hunting.... What about ME 3? Do you need to get the best ending or just a ending for the bet?

Now that I think of it your gonna run very close to the 30 hour mark. LOL.

Haha we've done a few runs before, like a blind Ocarina (neither of had played in like 6 years) non-sequence break run in like 18 hours... We've since got it down to about 9 But yeah we can deal with the sleep issue. I'm just interested to know if there's been any work done into optimising routes and expected times. I know where to look for minerals and stuff so that shouldn't be too bad. I don't yet know the various endings so I think that will be established later. I'm on Thessia of my first play through and after I'll have a look at the endings.

Hopefully we can do it in less than 30 but we'll see xD
