 So my N7 level was 727 when i got the new DLC and i had 1.7 mil ready to spend for it so when i got it i promoted 5 chars which took my n7 rating to 777 but when i spent my credits and lvl my chars with char cards my N7 wouldt rise accordinly with my levels, very frustrating!!!

You need to deploy characters from the promoted classes. Otherwise the levels wont count towards your n7 total.
