Can anyone tell me where to find a copy of the toolset EULA?
This is significantly different from the game EULA located in the Dragon Age docs folder.
We agree to it when installing the toolset. However, it isn't possible to copy that screen to the clipboard. I can't find a copy in the Dragon Age folders, either - perhaps I missed it?
Where can I find the toolset EULA?

Bump.
I'd like to follow Fernando Melo's recent advice to check the toolset EULA. Also, IIRC there is some wording that perhaps I ought to use on my personal website. I'd prefer to be a good citizen.

Just FYI, if you just run the installer again you can copy it to the clipboad with Ctrl+A Ctrl+C and then cancel before proceeding with the install.
I might be remembering completely wrong, but I thought somebody mentioned the EULA basically stated "all your mods are belong to us". Maybe that's just the for social site... at least it doesn't seem to go beyond "the game and assets are still ours, we just let you mod it." Not that it really matters though... just it'd be slightly annoying if it were "Anything completely new and non-derived you make is ours too."
Not that there's anything wrong with sharing...

Yeah that's pretty much my read on it. You are free to distribute it but you can't sell it and we own it. Except if you get sued - then it's all yours.FollowTheGourd wrote...

If you were allowed to sell your mod we would be flooded by leeches making worthless mods, hyping them up, and trying to sell them for $1. Like the iPhone App Store basically.

And to some extent I recall hearing that we _had_ to put the non-commercial restriction into the EULA, due to licensing agreements that we're under for some of the third-party stuff that's included with the toolset. Some of those companies make their bread and butter from licensing their programs and libraries to professional game developers and if professional game developers could just download the DA toolset instead it would be problematic.

I wouldn't ever think you'd be allowed to sell your mods by default. I know there were some rumours or concerns about that, but at least SpeedTree and maybe FaceFX (if that's what's used) would probably be at least some of the third party stuff in the toolset I could think of.
Mainly, I just don't see anything in the EULA that would say EA owns all your creative ideas just because you used the toolset to manifest them - even though ideas are a dime a dozen and I've never heard of this coming up as an issue before. All I meant to say was I don't think the EULA is anything we haven't seen before in other games.
