Here's my idea for how the  abilities should have played out for the new Rebellion characters:

Vorcha Soldier: Carnage, Bloodlust, Frag Grenade
Vorcha Sentinel: Flamer, Cluster Grenade, Cryo Blast
QM Engineer: EMP Grenade, Incinerate, Sabotage
QM Infiltrator: Tac. Cloak, Tac Scan, Sticky Grenade
Phoenix Adept: Smash, Throw, Singularity
Phoenix Vanguard: Lash, Biotic Charge, Lift Grenade

any other ideas?

Dude, vorcha would be absolute garbage without bloodlust. And replace with Cryo blast? No.

Would be a very bad sentinel.

Switch Lash and Smash on the Phoenix. Then we'll talk.

Phoenix Adept - Singularity, Lash, Smash

Phoenix Vanguard - Biotic Charge, Lash, Avalanche

Vorcha Soldier - Bloodlust, Rockets , Concussive Shot

Vorcha Sentinel - Bloodlust, Flamer, Lift Grenade

Male Quarian Infiltrator - Tactical Cloak, Tactical Scan, Cryo Blast

Male Quarian Engineer - Lightning Rod, Arc Grenade, Incinerate

Rockets - Heavy "Carnage" shots, longer cooldown, less damage, larger AoE radius, can be specced to either fragment the rocket on impact, damages like Cluster Grenades but with less radius and WAY less damage OR for firing two rockets in a row like the Geth Rocket Troopers can, second rocket is 60% less accurate

Lightning Rod - Spawns on ground similar to Decoy cover a radius of 5-10 metres. Does electrical damage to any enemies who enter it, shocking them briefly, AoE version of Overload, less damaging can set up Tech Bursts, last for 15-30 seconds, electricity pulsing every 5-3 seconds. Capable of being upgraded to Neural Shock.

Avalanche - Slams into the ground, sending debris flying out, dealing heavy damage to anyone within range. All targets hit are staggered for 3 seconds. unprotected targets are sent flying. Similar to shockwave in range. Capable of triggering Elemental Explosions. Can be specced for either increased damage to shields and barriers or health and armor

Only reason I didn't give Smash to the Vanguard is because it is sort of similar to Nova, and this seemed to even the two out without making one better than the other

Vorcha Soldier: Carnage, Bloodlust, Frag Grenade - I could back that
Vorcha Sentinel: Flamer, Cluster Grenade, Cryo Blast - Would be the flimsiest character yet without Bloodlusts benefits. I can't support this.
QM Engineer: EMP Grenade, Incinerate, Sabotage - Sabotage is so bad now, this is a nerf.
QM Infiltrator: Tac. Cloak, Tac Scan, Sticky Grenade - Another nerf, since Stickies aren't very good.
Phoenix Adept: Smash, Throw, Singularity - Swap Smash for lash. Singularity for Warp.
Phoenix Vanguard: Lash, Biotic Charge, Lift Grenade - Swap Lash for Smash, and change out the grenade.

Some of those sets in the OP look horrible. QMI in particular is just QI with TacScan instead of Sabotage. For most of those, you seem to be making it easy to just drop one of the skills and 6/6/6/6 the others.

This is somewhat similar to how I feel things should've been. I don't understand why they felt the need to make every new character share two abilities with another character in a different class. I already thought it was weird that the Drell Vanguard and Drell Adept were almost exactly the same, but now we have six more classes that really only feel like three.

The Resurgence DLC did it right. All of the classes got at least one of the new abilities, but none of them shared more than one. Each of them felt unique in their own right. With Rebellion, we get two almost identical Vorcha, two almost identical ex-Cerbs, and two almost identical Male Quarians.

QM Engineer: EMP Grenade, Combat Drone, Tac Scan
QM Infiltrator: Tac. Cloak, Tac Scan, Sabotage

No.

Quarian Male Engi is perfect.

Scan: power damage
Incinerate: radius/burning/armour
Grenades: damage/electric/shield overload
Passive: dmg cap/power
Fitness: shields

-

Incinerate makes the class a tech burst monster when paired with arc grenades, especially if you have the Grenade gear mod to compensate for the dot branch.

Honestly, he's one of the most powerful aoe classes in the game.

Well anything to separate thema bit.

Having one ability in common is great, like geth with hunter mode or batarians with blade armour.

But two abilities in common I think is a bit unfortunate.
Look at all the asari for example - only stasis is common between two of them. That's three unique characters.

Anyway at least the DLC is free, so I'm happy with what we've got, and I don't want to be rude for the work put in to bring us the new things.

But I'd have liked:

Cerberus Adept - Dark channel, slam, smash
Cerberus Vanguard - fine as it is.
Vorcha Sentinel - fine as it is.
Vorcha Soldier - Bloodlust, Carnage, Frag grenades.
Quarian Male Engineer - Sabotage, Incinerate, Arc grenade.
Quarian Male Infiltrator - fine as it is.

I love the idea of Dark Channel! Hasn't been used yet and makes the Cerberus Adept a bit more special and your QME is cool too

Yeah I think it is either a missed oportunity, or BW are saving those powers for future DLC. Only time will tell.

I don't mind so much about the vorcha or the quarians, but cerberus adept should have had dark channel.

All I know is that the classes need to be more different than just one ability.

 QME: Defence Drone, Incinerate, cryo.
QME: Defence Drone, Incinerate, Arc Grenades.
QME: Defence Drone, cryo, arc grenades.
QME: Defence Drone, Sabotage, arc grenades.
QME: Tech Armor, Cryo, arc grenades.

I can go on for ages.
