Is the Reagar Carbine the most broken weapon in the game currently?

Yes, it has very bad range...BUT...
it has low weight, requires no aim and instant kills almost anything...
How is that not broken?

Reegar Carbine does 1452 damage per clip. The Claymore does 1648 damage per clip and can shoot at things from across the map. Armor damage reduction is 50 damage per shot, Carbine does 66 damage per shot, AP ammo will not fully negate it.
I would agree that it doesn't seem to "miss" much, sort of like a typical shotgun at close range, but it doesn't seem to matter where the "pellets" hit.
I still feel the Krysae Sniper is on an entirely different league from it. More damage than a Black Widow at equal upgrades with AoE and 3 shots AND less weight too? From a Rare weapon? Utterly unacceptable. NERF IT.

Because it has a very short range, unreliable stagger and does nothing that claymore/graal/gps doesn't already make possible (killing two-three guys close to each other in one clip, big deal).
It's the tactical cloak that's still silly and makes weapons silly.

It literally requires you to take Armor Piercing or Incendiary Ammo to do any real damage to Armor. At most, it should be downgraded to Graal/GPS weight.

You guys seem to miss the gun literally has no range. Go to the spawn of the new Surk'kesh map. That tiny little area you extract from, which is kinda a rounded rectangle?
It doesn't reach to the end of that, or just barely does.

Of course it is, I can't believe some people argue otherwise.
Especially OP in the hands of an infiltrator or vanguard.
Drell Vanguard with Reegar and Adrenaline Module III is just ridiculous.

There at least twelve weapons that do more damage per second, and most of them have accross map range capabilities. It's a close combat niche weapon made for close combat specialist.
Not every gun in the game was made for your personal playstyle, nor should it ever be.

You are exaggerating. Range and horrible ammo consumption (clips that last for a second) ARE noticeable downsides and both pretty much unique to the gun. It could take a nerf, probably, but the most broken weapon? I'd say krysae steals the honor.

Oh, another thing you hate. C'mon. It's a cool-looking Ghostbuster gun that's pretty badass up close and, from my experience watching people use it, totally useless on big wide open maps like Dagger and Hydra.

The Reegar should have been an ultra-rare along with the Harrier tbh.

Krysase is pretty balanced. I don't know what you and others get at, I can barely kill anything with it at Level 1. As Soldier or as Infilitrator with cloak. I just suck all around, which is strange considering I direct hit or hit at the feet of troopers.
Maybe at level 10, sure. But isn't that the whole point of gold guns at 10? that they're uber amazing?

Was wondering if the reegar/flamer combo with incendiary ammo could make fire explosions alot easier? At work right now and cannot test this theory...

I'm not sure an infiltrator with the Reegar couldn't do the exact same thing with a Claymore.

Krysae still has the crown for most broken weapon, then GPS. I say they're broken, (compared to other weapons) due to rarity. This gun is in a way is the most balanced gun in the game. Look at the description lol. Has 0 accuracy and 0 fire rate. It has only 1 range. Melt target. The clip is so small you can go through it without noticing in a slightly laggy game.

But now it's OP or something....
Funny thing is... I can kill ANYTHING faster with a Claymore. Is that OP?
I can do the same thing with the Wraith that I can do with the Reeger. But for some reason the Wraith is crap and the Reeger is OP.

The gun is named after Kal'Reeger, any argument against it is invalid.
