Bioware,

Thanks for the VP and CP.

Let me know when I'll be able to actually use the content.  Since last night, I have only been able to complete one
mission without the framerate slowdown->eventual freeze->disconnect.

Supposedly a patch being released tomorrow will solve the issue.

Experiencing the same 'memory leak' type slowdown effect.

I'm not too sure it's a memory leak since those happens after a certain amount of playtime. I've had the slowdowns and freezes even when I first turn on the PS3 for the day.

Since downloading Rebellion I can't play more than two matches without the game lagging so bad that it becomes unplayable.

The sudden loss of connection when it displays 'Connecting...' at the top left on Waves 9 or 10 or 11 is infuriating also.
It would make sense if it also happens on Waves 1 or 2 or 3, but it doesn't.
It always happens near the end of a match.

It ruins the enjoyment when you're on a roll and you reach wave 9 or 10 when this suddenly happens.
And because of it, all earned credits, xp and GRR% for that match is lost -- forever.

Once or twice is acceptable - but 4 or 5 times in a row around the same wave isn't.

I've never had these issues on AC or UC (and if it happened it was very seldom).

It wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. It won't be fixed any time soon. The same fps and freezing issues were present in the demo and others have been posting about it scince. Months have passed and to be honest, there are few players left anyway.

It is beyond pathetic. Even Bethesda took less time to fix skyrim.

Yup, memory leaks everywhere, resulting in my having to reset my PS3 almost every 20 minutes! WTF!

I have yet to be able to finish a Firebase Jade match, the farthest I've gotten is Wave 6 before a total freeze. I've locked up and frozen on that map at least 5 times, twice in Wave 1 just as the match starts. I'm just quitting out of Jade matches now, it's pretty much unplayable for me. If it could be taken out of random map rotation, that would be awesome.

The other issue I've noticed is getting dropped into a game already in progress and not being able to see the host or his/her score, I only see text if they get a medal of some sort.

It's not when it gets choppy that you have to worry. It's when it hard freezes entirely... Several posts are claiming damage to their consoles as a result. It happened to me three games in a row after the res DLC. On the last, instead of saying that my console didn't shut down prop, it said the system had become corrupted and it needed to perform a restore. This was the last time I played ME3.

Scince, I've beaten skyrim and max Payne 3. I come back and nothing has changed. No patch or at least an acknowledgement of the issues. Nadda.

To bioware: I never played any of the Dragon Age games but I had the bundle edition in my hand and opted for max payne instead. This is why. The let-down known as singleplayer didn't help either. Maybe you should steal Max Payne 3's lead writer, he did red dead redemption too and didn't polarize the fan base with an ending. Zzzing. But in all honesty, his cliche ending still delivered through the story he wove whereas me3 just made me want to burn it.

This game has become a joke. How can a game-breaking bug be ignored for so long is beyond me. Have they even acknowledged that this system lag exists?

Hey guys, at least we're not alone this time, right? It's kind of funny reading the posts of some of the pc guys tearing their hair out...

So has BW even acknowledged this problem yet?

I never really bothered complaining with the pre-rebellion slowdowns. As they happened at the 2-3 hour mark, it made for a good break time. I don't need to take a break every 10 minutes, though...

According to another thread (by a player, of course, not BW) PS3 patch is available now? Anyone able to confirm or deny? If true, and anyone has downloaded, is it helping? My guess would be "no," as the pc users already had the patch and they are complaining, too.

I can kind of feel where you're coming from on this.  I've been hanging around waiting for the EC for SP.  Without being able to finish a single match last night, though, I gave up and put in GoT.  Mors is a BEAST!
Too bad Martin's not available to write a new ending for them...

Yea last night i got one good match in than EA servers kicked me out, but apparently if i read Mike Gamble tweets out right it was because they were being restarted. But after that my friend started to lag really bad who wasnt having problems from what i could tell the whole time.

anyone confirm if patch and fixes have been implemented? I'd like to know if I'm going to throw my life away tonight on me3 or do something productive. :)

Lagged hard.on me before the patch, but now it's been working fine.....so far......I actually got an ultra-rare tonight too. It was only the javelin 5 but it's still a black card.

Confirming this also, after installing the patch, have not encountered the MP lag.  Hope it stays that way (i.e. MP lag in PS3 is fixed).

Patch 1.03 should have fixed the freeze / severe frame rate drop. Please let us know if this is not the case for you after downloading the latest patch.

The day after I downloaded the patch I suffered unbearable lag every second match. Yesterday however I played almost all day and experienced almost no lag at all, so whatever you guys did thanks!

I had some chop still last night, inconvenient but no longer game-breaking.  Far more inconvenient and time-consuming last night was the whole matchmaking thing :(
