Good endings.........

No, but I miss unlimited ammo.

Badass armor.

Being able to fire on the Citadel

The Mako

Fish (Wait, that's from ME2)

Not photoshopped backgrounds *COUGH*Firebase White*COUGH*

Why must the most badass armor look like red and black snm outfits? I thought it said armor was ceramic plates and not shinny rubber. Also, why does the deulist armor have bandages? And why can't I have scaled armor anymore like the mercenary or guardian armor?

Okay, some of the armor back than was cool.

'I should let you go..."

"Let me go? Do humans consider conversation a form of imprisonment?"

He was pretty cool.

The fanbase that didn't whine about a previous game being perfect and all changes being awful.

"Retro" scifi-theme, visual and audio
Distinctive biotic casting animations
Squadmates held their weapons the same way Shepard does
Codex entries were relevant by smoothly providing answers before questions were even formed
Exploration/Sidequests
Synth/Electro soundtrack.../tear
Oversupply of credits

Kaidan's tan

That right there. I couldn't put my finger on it before...but now. Kaidan showing his age didn't bother me in the least in ME3. Sexy for sure. Kaidan getting whitened up through ME2 and ME3, I do have a big problem with.

The Uncharted worlds. There's just this feeling you get on them. Like "I could just sit here, thousands of light-years away from everything, doing nothing." That level of freedom is rare to come-by in a game. It happens because the worlds are big enough to feel real. It really made you feel small. In ME2, uncharted worlds just felt like different hallways. They were a little better in ME3, but still nothing compared to ME1.

Some semblance of non-linear story progression.

Hmmm, I've always found the entire Mass Effect series to be a pretty linear experience in general (actually most BioWare games I feel are still pretty linear).

I'm curious if you're the type of person that considers non-story related exploration as part of non-linearity.  I don't, so that might be where I've tripped up on the term, as ME does (from what I recall) provide better random exploration moments than the later games.

Exploration of uncharted worlds. I know this wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but I always loved it.
I was really hoping for exploration in ME3 that improved on how it worked in ME1. I can understand why people didn't enjoy it, but I think Bioware could have made exploration better instead of just dropping it completely.

More hub worlds, definitely.
Semblance of non-linearity inasmuch as we could actually pick the order of the main missions? Sure.

Those are pretty much the only things I really miss.

I miss Mass Effect 1's Liara.
First of all, in my opinion she was more beautiful in ME1 than in the other games... She just looked alot more young and blue..
Secondly she was alot more innocent and cute in ME1 but still very passionate and amazing. I simply fell in love with her in that game. Now I'm not saying she isn't amazing in the other two games, just in my opinion they should have kept her the way she was in the first game.

Also, exploring worlds the REAL way with the Mako..

I've been playing ME again, actually. I find that I missed a lot of things from ME. Most have been covered. The inventory system had it's downside, but actually getting to equip my team again... Hello Colossus armor, how I've missed thee. Well, I don't have it, yet, but soon... Doing a Vanguard Shepard to romance Tali with this time. Never tried that class. I need to get my Leroy Jenkins on!

- Oh, and Sledgehammer rounds FTW! Although Inferno and Explosive had their uses, too.

- Btw, if you're spending 10 minutes to climb a mountain in the Mako, you're doing it wrong.

I miss how you got to choose which planet to go to first, Noveria, Feros, or the other one.

Oh and the elevators.

ME1 and ME2 had a wide variety of side-missions and mini-games that made it feel less linear.   I agree that the games were pretty linear if you ignored the side missions.

I would have liked a little more life on the few garden planets we visit, but I also understand that most of them would be lifeless rocks. I had no issue with those. Besides, look up while you're exploring one of those worlds and tell me it isn't awesome to see the great scar on the surface of Klendagon.

- Or that big, blue marble we call home.

The concept of vehicle exploration. I'm not a fan of the Mako or the same worlds being recycled with slightly different textures, but vehicle exploration should have been improved upon rather than being cut out entirely.
