Hi,
Im starting new game as warrior archer,
And want to have 4 archers in paty but without ranger' pets..
Do I need only 1st line of archery talents?
I thnk i will not able to use special shots because my stamina will be spent on Defensive Fire, Threaten, Rally, and I need to use War cry and Taunt at least once.
or maybe Alistair will be better archer-tank (with defensive fire)? He has less free points but already has one in templar..

That is interesting thought...
You don't need special shot, just boost Strength and Dexterity, some in Cunning. Wear massive armor. I think that should do.
Same goes for Alistair.
But both of you can only specialized in Champion and Templar. Righteous Strike is melee however.
If you do have two rogue archer with ranger pet along side with you...that will be awesome

Sounds good. I find that high armor attracts enough attention so you don't need to taunt. I think I use shattering shot once in a while.
