Every time I try to enter the game, this pops up. Anytime I try to reconnect, it does it again. I can't even play unless I start a no-DLC game. I think, haven't tried that.
I mostly started it on a whim, anyway, see if there were any unlocks from some event. Haven't even finished single and haven't really cared, but multiplayer was still fun enough.
Mass Effect 3 servers down?

Oh god, not this again. This is the same exact thing that happened like a month ago and meant I couldn't play for 3-4 days. This is because of the Commendation Packs from the Operation Shieldwall weekend event. Somehow the packs messed up their player database so we are basically screwed until they fix it.
EDIT: Hmmm, maybe it was just a hiccup, because it's working for me now.
MORE EDIT: Nope, I was wrong, it is broken. It says "The Mass Effect 3 server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later." and then when it loads the menu I get this: http://imgur.com/ULFCX
It had let me connect to the server once and I could get into the multiplayer menu but it's not working any more. I didn't have any of the multiplayer DLC when it did let me in.

I think its fixed because I just managed to get a connection. Can anyone else confirm?

I also can't connect to EA servers. I don't even give a crap about multiplayer, but since for some reason you need an internet connection to validate single-player DLC, I am unable to play.
It's rather maddening.

No, this time's different I think. Last time it said that our cerberus code didn't work, this time it's saying it couldn't find EA's servers. I think their whole server went down...

what's funny is that only the people that pirated the game are probably able to play.

Their servers aren't down because I was playing with a buddy and chatting with him over Skype and I got booted out of a game receiving that message but he was going on just fine.

The lost connection issue still happens....especially when buying packs.

I haven't been able to play multiplayer at all for a few days now.
When I click 'Multiplayer', it loads for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then I get a "you have been disconnected from the EA servers, you must reonnect" message, and get dumped back to the title menu.
Every. Single. Time.
Is there anything I can do? (it's not my connection or firewalls, etc).

Same here.
Quite annoying to say the least. Before the patch, I already experienced several major issues.
- Store claiming credits but not giving the pack
- Store not functional at all
- When shooting a sniper rifle from cover while not the host, the rifle hits the cover.
- The reave noise continually playing (how can you NOT notice that)
But then there is the big 1.03 patch. Excellent. But now:
- Cannot connect at all!
What kind of game experience is this? It looks like Bioware hacked in the multiplayer with a too small development team and fails to deliver a game that is playable.
Ah, well, at least the single-player experience is fun.

And this is why piracy exists. Good job validating every sceners job ever, EAware.
