However, from the moment I downloaded and installed the Rebellion DLC, I've had nothing but heartache. My game lags, players are lagged out of matches, the graphics get choppy, there are black boxes around tech and biotic attacks, and just now, my game froze forcing me to do a hard reboot of my system. I have to close and reopen my PS3 every three matches or else I risk lag, and I've told all my friends to do so, too. There's not a SINGLE PERSON on my 40+ list of friends who has NOT experienced the issues I've listed here. Some have quit playing ME3 altogether, and I'm afraid I may join them soon.
This game is very fun; it's one of my favorites. I've played it almost everyday since the release, but now it's become an unplayable nightmare. I never know when the next bout of lag will strike; I never know which of my teammates will be the next to get booted. You can imagine what kind of hassle it is to be in the middle of an important credit wave on gold only to lose half your team due to lag! Nothing has remedied this problem save for a full system reboot every three matches for ALL my teammates! It doesn't matter who's hosting; it doesn't matter what everyone's internet is like' it doesn't matter whether someone's hard-wired or wireless--everyone gets the lag eventually, and as far as I can tell, this all stems from the new DLC.
The question I'd like to ask Bioware is thus: Will you ever fix these issues? Dev team, you've done an awesome job with the new weapons, characters, and map, but no one can enjoy these things when the game won't play. There's a serious flaw in your coding. Please address these issues. I'd rather you have thoroughly debugged and fixed this DLC and released it at a much later date than to have it now and not be able to play at all. I just can't enjoy multiplayer like I used to. This is supposed to be a game made for fun, not a chore that's troublesome and irritating to deal with.
