The VS asked two questions on Mars after not seeing you for three years... and ya'll rage. I find it amusing, honestly.

"Are you a traitor?" is just one question and it's enough to make quite a few people rage. Also three years? Have you forgotten Horizon? Where oh wait a minute! she does the exact same thing?

Truthfully, I found this new dynamic between Shepard and the VS to be interesting and refreshing. Conflict is a requirement of all good stories, afterall.
In fact, I was dissapointed it took so little time and effort for the VS to believe in Shepard or that they didn't attempt to introduce more complex tought into the issue. Maybe something akin to "Traitor? It was the Alliance who betrayed humanity."

Also Tali, in ME2, giving Jacob a death glare after he mentions "the ship's AI" (EDI). It was an unfortunate remark, sure, but I didn't like how she immediately jumped to conclusions there, about Cerberus and everyone affiliated with the organization. A shame the game didn't present you the option to call her out on it.

No. Jacob deserves anything he gets, ever.

Speaking of which, I wish there were more opportunities to make fun of Jacob.

They're questions, not accusations. And two at that.

Wait so an accusation to you only counts if its blantant pointing of the finger and announcing "this man is a traitor"?
You just going to ignore the subtle implications that you still work for EvilCo Cerberus and were in on the hit on Mars even though you were locked up for 6 months with no outside contact?

Nah, I honestly think we're good after the VS said "case-closed" in the hospital. They got their questions answered.

You have two choices:

1. Move on.
2. Be bitter.

Oh also
Jacob: Welcome to the team, Tali.
Tali: F**k you, blah blah, I'm here for Shepard not Cerberus.
Ergo, you're here for Cerberus. Shut up, and get down to the engine room so I can ignore you for the rest of the game.

The SR2 would be a lot emptier in ME3. Joker, EDI, Garrus, Javik, traynor, james, cortez, adams, ken and gabby, MAYBE kaidan, and dr. hacksaw of course (those alliance personnel better learn quick that my shepard hates the alliance) I can't stand the alliance, tali is twerp, and liara is annoying as hell. Bring back the Cerberus crew, mordin, legion, samara, zaeed, jacob, thane, wrex, grunt, and the one and only Miranda Lawson as my beautiful XO and lover, and get rid of all the goddamn alliance BS and give me back my ME2 Normandy.

Meh maybe it works from a narrative point of view but as a player I found it annoying. And if they had expanded it more, maybe I could see it as a device. As it stands it's just a repeat of Horizon.

Besides I think it'd be more in character for Carth 2.0 Kaidan than Ashley to keep that up.

I found it to be quite different from Horizon considering they were willing to work with you.

Too bad it's easy to gain their trust, huh?

Not really. They're willing to work with you because your ass has been restamped with the Alliance logo. No points for that one.

Tali was still annoying in that scene, even if Jacob is an acceptable target. I wonder how she would've reacted if Jacob was biased against Quarians. Oh wait, no I don't -- I know exactly how she would've reacted.

Honestly there were times that each and every character made me want to either paragon kiss or renegade punch them ... From Anderson saying that Shepard owed him more than one? No. Shepard doesn't. to Shepard herself when she went running down to that beam. Boot to the head! What were you thinking?

Then there was Liara drinking all the tequila, Ashley for not sharing the cookies, Kaidan doing that strip tease and not inviting Shepard, Miranda really putting a control chip in the vibrator, Wrex talking about future krogan aggression while touching himself, Hackett sending Shepard to retrieve the whack job and then telling everyone she did it on the bathroom walls, Jacob for slipping a roofie in Shepard's drink, Thane for calling Shepard "sleighride" or whatever that was, Conrad Verner for not letting Shepard see the photo he took, Tali for not leaving a photo for my Shepard, Garrus for making Shepard have to close those three freakin' doors, Mordin for implying that Shepard wanted him, Samara for leading Shepard on, Morinth for not leading Shepard on but saying "yessssssss", Kasumi for stealing the fornax, Zaeed just because that dead eye creeped me, Jack for that tattoo that said "Shepard is a starfish in bed" ... and the list goes on.

Nah... All it takes is Shepard not working for terrorists, really.

You see what Cerberus Science has done to those troops - they aren’t people, they're indoctrinated killers. All the VS needs is a little reassurance. Personally, my Shepard wanted to defend his humanity in that situation... so I had no problem. Image IPB

Considering the alternative was to ignore the attacks on human colonies...

Terrorists eh? Terrorists that are actually responsible for the VS not getting turned into Reaper goo by the Collectors?

There's reasonable doubt... and then there's just being a biased narrow-minded ****. I just think the VS skirts just a little too close to the latter for my liking. Not irredeemably. The hospital scenes were still touching.

The Alliance was investigating the attacks. Vega was on one of the teams they sent out, and they were sold out...by a Cerberus operative, oddly enough.

Nah, Cerberus lead them there in the first place, remember?

Wow, aren't you bitter. Awh. That's too bad. I had some good scenes with them both.

Yes, the terrorists that were responsible for the Collectors even being there in the first place.

Yeah, I can't understand why she'd be biased against a group that had attacked her people and killed a bunch of them. That sure was out of line.

Exceedingly well. When the Alliance got its first piece of evidence, Cerberus had already gone through the Omega 4 Relay.
Maybe if they had less dreadnougths patrolling Council Space to replace turian vessels lost during Sovereign's attack and used them instead to protect our territory, the Collectors wouldn't have taken so many.

Vega was on one of the teams they sent out, and they were sold out...by a Cerberus operative, oddly enough.

The only mention of that supposed "Cerberus operative" comes from Vega who would have a biased view of the situation much like the VS on Horizon. I can think of reasons why Cerberus would sabottage Alliance efforts but it's all just theory.
Maybe we will get more answers in the upcoming anime movie.

The same reason Shepard is; to help the human colonists.

It's not like Shepard can't bad-mouth Cerberus the entire game if you choose to pick those dialogue options.

Aha, right in this thread. XD

But I think all Shepard's squadmates, who is in his squad, who landing with him (!!!) deserve not to go trough the airlock.
