So the sound on reave is just gone entirely as of the latest patch. Now it was pretty damn irritating in some situations before, but I'd easily rather have it back and broken than not at all.
Am I alone in that desire?

eff that bogus annoying noise man. im SO glad its gone. i play with surround sound headphones cranked up to max so i can hear enemies coming from any direction and lemme tell you

It wasn't that bad? Dude, it was obnoxiously loud and played for practically the duration of the match if anybody was using reave consistently. How could anybody thinks that's 'not that bad' is beyond me. It drowns out the rest of the game sound completely, and if you're using a headset like I do it's liable to give you a headache.

I can't believe the solution was just to remove the sound entirely. The problems were that it was too loud, didn't stop when it was supposed to, and wasn't consistent with when it changed pitch. But now, it's just so... silent.
