I guess I'm really just posting here to say I was another person who didn't automatically receive the pack. If it really was as big a portion of players who had this issue as this thread makes it seem, then hopefully Bioware will look into improving it.

definitely not me, when the operation started and i saw the operation screen 2am saturday in poland, i immediately promoted 5 characters, then gradually 5 more

He's probably getting the same message I am when you try to login - 'Sorry, this service is temporary unavailable." - Which is even more insulting, as they couldn't even spell temporarily apparently.

It finally worked! But also i had to enter mass effect in CAPS.

I'm also following your directions; the problem I am having with your guide is after I select Mass Effect 3, I see a place to select my platform, but there isn't a 'category' tab. There is only a 'more' tab, and it doesn't have the Gameplay/In game selection in it.

How do you create an Origin Master ID? I don't remember the process it was so long ago...TheGorillaTickler wrote...
Ok, to anyone having problems because you get the "service temporary unavailable' option, you have to create an Origin Master ID first. Not just your EA ID, but the Origin master ID has to be made as well. Once you get that, you will have access to the chat function.
