I gave up on the email option and tried again with live chat - they got it sorted, took just under 10 mins including wait time. The person (duno if it was a lady or a gent) on the other end was very polite and courteous.

It was a ball ache to get the Live Chat to work in the first place - i had to keep refreshing the page and switching countries in order to get the scroll down menu to pop up when i typed in "Mass Effect 3", but in the end it was worth it. Got a nice new Valiant (i'd actually have prefered a Crusader, but i'm not going to complain - free gun is free gun). Thanks to Zen for the advice in this thread, it's been invaluable (i was going to try emailing again with your blurb instead of my own if i had no luck on live chat the second time i got to talk to someone).

The problem is that the live chat seems to be viable option for the chosen ones. For me it was e-mail only last time and this time it get's stuck on choosing the game

Same here.  This thread was extremely helpful.  Now, I just have 3+ hours of work to get through to see what I won.  Probably more thermal clips.

Try typing the name in capitals, like someone suggested earlier.

Working on chat right now. Had to open it in internet explorer though, as it did not work with firefox.

Edit:  Took less than 10 min.  Thanks sourabh!  Now have Hurricane II

Even if they having broken english, most of the people on support are VERY dedicated to their job. They will ask you a question over and over until you understand it and they will make sure they understand you. Work with them, you'll get your pack in less than a commercial break.

Since nobody answered my email from this morning, I tried LiveChat again on my lunch break. Poonam was kind enough to help me out AND my pack had a Hurricane I. I am very happy.

Also, hilarious fellow. Broken English, but when I reported I got my pack, he literally typed back: *cheers*.

Just select Live chat and choose you case id, one you sent through email. Waiting 1 minute and EA helper was super nice and fast. Great job EA in customer service!!

i promoted all my characters over the weekend and didn't get the commendation pack either.
omg.. live chat again... i'm more likely to just give up on all those "special challenge" weekends. I'll just play whatever, whenever , however.

when I first tried logging in, it just sat there at log in screen with circular busy symbol so I hit refresh and I was logged in. I made an email request but no reply so I tried chat and I got my pack within 2mins. I have to say, EA support is the best I've ever had with anything. No hang ups, no transferring to other departments, no put on hold for half hour and then hung up on, no tier 3 xbox live support in india yelling at me.

I actually felt a warm tingly sensation in my chest for a brief moment. My mom told me it's the place where my heart resides but 30 years of gaming has crippled my emotions to the point I will have to research this warm fuzzy feeling I had. Must have been allergies, or a heart attack.
