Hopefuly someone will point me out in the right direction here, because it's driving me insane.

I can't get the terrain triggers to work with the SOZ Overland Map in my own modules. Basically, the PC's will either move at full speed (by this I mean the speed outside an OM, which makes them look like the Flash) or at the minimum speed (mountain terrain)

I've read all the documents, followed everything step by step. I even made a copy of the SOZ campaign folder and asigned it to my own module. Same problem. All the systems work, except for the terrain triggers when it comes to PCs speed.

I'm sure it's just some stupid detail I can't figure out, so any help would be extremely welcomed by my mental health

The OM can be very tricky to work with.  I suugest you start with a prefab and insert your areas into it.  The North Cormyr OM Prefab is a great one to use as it doesn't have a lot of overhead and works well.

Terrain triggers are controled by a 2DA for movement speed.  You may also be missing this or have it messed up somehow.  Also, the Obsidian "documentation" is lacking in many places and actually wrong in others.

Thanks for the tip on the Cormyr prefab, Mokah.I'll see if that can shed a light.

Like I said, I understand the logic behind the system, which is why we're revamping it, so it's actually an actual option for PWs. The thing is, we figured out that the terrain trigger scripts aren't that bad. It's just that they don't seem to work, unless you are in the actuall SOZ campaign.

In any case, let me check out Cormyr, and if that works out I'll even write a more detailed tutorial on what's what in the OM system

I forgot to repost, Sorry for the delay (just in case someone else is having the same problem). It turned out I had a missing .nss file (the dangers of copying scripts from a folder to another while drinking, sometimes you click move)

So everything's working as intended now. Thanks again Mokah.
