Ok, seem to be having a problem, I lauch origin and try to play mass effect 3, i click on ME3 and the box comes on saying its launching it but then nothing happens. ME3 dont even appear in the task manager

I have tried a complete reinstall of both Origin and ME3 but still the same problem, Any advice?

I've found that running both Origin and ME3 (from the Windows taskbar on my system) as Administrator has resolved this problem for me. It all seems to have started from the recent update to Origin (1.86?) which has knackered the simple 'click on ME3 taskbar icon' that I'd been using up till then.

(I think you can probably get away with just running ME3 as Administrator - right-click on taskbar icon, then right-click again on ME3 shortcut in the pop-up menu and select 'Run as administrator' - but I need to verify this tonight.)

i confirm that.
running as administrator solve this issue. and yes i believe it's because of latest update to Origin that cause all this.

Strange, i tried that b4, but just tried it now and it worked. But the last time i tried it was before i reinstalled everything

I've tried enter the game as Admin, didn't work. Then I turned off the cloud save function of Origin(had turned it on when I was stumbling with this problem.) and run ME3 as Admin, now it worked!

Well, despite posting my advice above, yesterday it took me a good hour of repeated right-clicking and rebooting before I could get ME3 to load properly as even running everything as Administrator wasn't working. Eventually, I ended up running Origin as Admin and then running the actual MassEffect3.exe file (rather than a shortcut) as Admin also. Not sure it should make any difference and it'll probably be something different tonight anyway, but thought I'd mention it. (Ironically, I turned the Cloud Save feature on before it started working. Again, not sure whether that's relevant or not.)

I did it originally in order to download the patch, but it also restored my ability to launch ME3 from inside origin.
