IMO I'm not interested in the premise of the Wii-U and after being disappointed by the Wii and the DS and the overall cheap manufacturing for Nintendo (using older technology compared to Sony and Microsoft) I'm probably going to go with a PSVita if I want a handheld experience.Rockworm503 wrote...

I'm still holding out for Nintendo *whistles*
Yeah I ain't counting nintendo out but for today its a toss up between Ubisoft and Sony for me.
I dunno while the Wii-U is looking promising I can't say I'm exactly sold on it yet but knowing Nintendo they'll entertain tomorrow thats for sure.

I hope Halo 4 puts a little more emphasis on rampant AI. I thought that was one of the more interesting parts of Halo lore.
Did you see the part where she says "I won't let you off this planet!" I thought that was good at showing what a rampant AI could do (or in this case say)
I did, yes. I hope it can show it though without her going completely insane, kind of like in a Halo book I read once called The Cole Protocol. Good book.

Darn I fell asleep pretty much after Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Any big news happen?
The context of that could go in very different directions, given what Cortana has been through, she seems to be developing genuine emotions. If it's aimed at the Chief then she's probably gone full on nuts rampant. It could be aimed at some unknown enemy who's been trapped on the planet too(please not The Flood) if the plant is some sort of prison that they have accidently opened. Could be that she is still more or less in control but developing wild emotions, hence the outburst. I couldn't tell who it was aimed at.DarkDragon777 wrote...

Cortana was freaking out in one of the gamepay videos I saw so hopefully it's emphasised.
Cortana: "I WILL NOT LET YOU LEAVE THIS PLANET!". So yeah...

The Last of Us looks amazing, God Of War Ascension Gameplay = Mind Blown, Beyond: Two Souls (Makers from Heavy Rain) looks beautiful, Watch Dogs looks amazing, rofl. I can keep going. Sony won it for me.

I'm currently watching the Microsoft press conference...wow. Couldn't Ubi have at least found a VA for Sam that had a remotely seasoned voice?

Either a coincidence or someone subconsciously modeled Elle after her and picked a name that is way too similar.![]()
Still even the new face looks pretty much the same imo.Rockworm503 wrote...

Nintendo does know how to give a good presentation. If Nintendo can show us that third party developers are willing to make games for the more...hardcore crowd then I'm sold.
So far there is
Arkham City
Darksiders II
ZombieU (?)
Ghost Recon Online
Assassin's Creed III
Alien: Colonial Marines
But there needs to be a steady stream ofcourse.

Beyond was the best game previewed today. Watch Dogs was the best non-exclusive featured. Assassin's Creed finally has a female lead, and Sony had the best presentation of all throughout the day.
Outside of what I was already interested in Watch Dogs and Beyond: Two Souls were mind blowing. I've got to keep an eye on Last of Us now.

Does anyone have the hardware specifications of the Wii U, being able to run the current generation of games is all well and good but how will it stack up as next gen hardware? I mean when Sony and Microsoft finally get around to announcing their next gen consoles will the Wii U be powerful enough to compete or will it get left in the dust? The Wii survived and was successful because it offered something new and different, this time around I am not so sure this tablet controller they got is going to be able to do it.
