I wonder if anyone has had this issue...? I'm on a 3rd playthrough (2nd with the same character) and I wanted to start the mission on Eden Prime. I've played through this mission twice before. The characters I have access to are Liara and James.
After I choose each for my team and their weapon choices, we move to the scene in the shuttle. As soon as Liara starts speaking, the game locks and throws me out.
Anyone experience this? I've tried doing a repair through Origin... that didn't work. Any other thoughts?

My brother had the exact same problem. Repair worked for him, though.

I had to repair to fix a crash in a later part of the mission. It ended up redownloading the whole dlc!
