If the Valiant was switched with the Krysae, and everybody had a Valiant X, would you call for a nerf. Would you even know that the Krysae is broken; do you even know that the Valiant isn't broken. Maybe the Valiant should be nerfed along with the Krysae.

Many players feel the Valiant is better than the Black Widow because of the fast reload and quick fire, which allows three shots to be fired in cloak, clearly this gun is over powered.

Again people are upset with the Krysae because it makes the game easy. A Valiant X, will also make the game easy. You can also substitute my example, the Valiant X, with many other guns.

No, because the BW is considered better by a lot of us, and both require SKILL AND GOOD AIM. The Krysae requires basically nothing.

This whole thread brings me back to when I used..nvm has nothing to do with ME3.

Its gonna get nerfed so keep your panties in a bunch.  But just know that it'll get nerfed to ground like a 747 free falling.

Sorry if Bioware takes a drastic step in one direction or the other. It doesn't change the problem.

Acutally thinking, testing, the rolling out a nerf/buff would be better then making a foolish irrational decision.  But we all know what they'll do 1st.

I don't like the cloak with the new sniper rifle because the cloak seems to click off whenever I go to aim, it sucked. But on the otherhand, I used it on my walking tank Krogan Sentinal and it seemed nice but it's a weapon you only wanna use while hosting otherwise it suffers from lost shots. At least it did... did that get patched? Hmm.... Need. More. Data. Lol.

As long as that's your complaint with Bioware rather than the people actually requesting the balance change.
I'm not sure what irrational buff decisions you think they've made, though. They've taken those steps fairly gradually.

I like it as is, it is a rare weapon and I'm sorry but rare weapons should be op. Just remember the Falcon, that's how they nerf. That gun is trash now. Nerfing it would only have everyone sticking to the same old same old reliable weapons and isn't that getting tiresome? I think it is. Just enjoy it, stop whining and if it offends your geekabilities, then guess what? Don't use it. Problem solved. You're welcome.

Dude you played with 2 Engineers and an infiltrator. Of course your going to score, they are support classes, sure the engineer can do a lot of damage, but they always boost other players scores.

I have played with that weapon multiple times it's good but it's glitchy. Oh no a good weapon, not that? It did not change my usual scores at all, didn't come in first everytime either. I mean if you sat in one spot using proxy and that weapon at spawn points yeah your going to get a crazy score. I have seen people do that with mines and shotguns.

It still seems like nobody is reading the post. I don't know how much more clear I can make it without wrapping Christmas-tree lights around it.

I'll say again, I never suggested nerfing the gun, or even the class (entirely different issue). I suggested a change to the weapon that would only apply to infiltrators with rank 6 tactical cloak.

I know a lot of you are having fun with this gun. The problem is, it isn't going to be long-term fun. Like I said, this gun is like cheat codes on an Infiltrator. How long will the fun last with no challenge? Do we really need to make every map into FBWGG for your temporary amusement?

The fact is the gun took no skill, no aim, and no thought to get a high score with good players on the team.

I say keep it the way it is now in all its overpowered gory glory.

I no longer have to carry my team the whole time and worry about if they all go down next to a bunch of Pyro's or something.

The reason why Infiltrators got good damage bonus is coz Bioware a** f**ked cloak so hard that now every single enemy sees through it at any given time. If you lower damage bonus then u gotta give infiltrator the ability to use cloak to hide from enemies again. Fair is fair.

As for the Krysae, if a Ravager is allowed to take me out in a single volley while im full hp, then me taking the Ravager down in 3 volleys seems a fair trade-off. Considering while i'm sniping it there's nearly always some little sh** marauder shooting me in the back and taking me down in 5 shots of his magic Phaeston.

It's good that they gave us some strong new guns because bloody hell they sure buffed the enemy!

Krysae is a boring gun.
I finally unlocked a M-98 widow today and dropped the Krysae like a hot potato.
Heavy hitting single-shot rifles like that let me take pride in my marksmanship and force me to be good, or be heavily penalized for missing.

Why does everyone think it needs to be nerfed? Its a co-op game. Plus I only have the first upgrade for it. Give people some time to unlock stuff first. Not everyone saves up millions of credits to spend on dlc stuff the first day. Many people haven't unlocked half of the guns/gear/characters yet.

I wonder how many players don't know the Krysae has a 10x zoom by holding down the trigger. If the accuracy was greatly reduced unless you zoomed in completely it would likely solve this issue.

Does anyone else think that with all of these new cool weapons and static gear slots that they are building up to adding a platinum difficulty? Seems like they are trying to improve our chances of surviving one :P

Other teammates using it. Can't random any more. Every enemy just getting blown away around the corner by Krysae-toting Infils. Gold is no longer Gold- it becomes Silver. So we ask for a balance change; something that will bring it down on the level of other guns, rather than being the ridiculous mini-missile it currently is, and won't take away from the natural challenge of what is supposed to be the hardest difficulty in Multiplayer.

Also, keep your crass tone to yourself. It's a legitimate complaint with actual facts behind it. Sorry, but that's not whining.

My suggested solution will not change what gun people unlock when they do. It will be the same thing.

Being a co-op game doesn't mean we can just throw balance out the window. That is, unless you want to turn Mass Effect into a childish parody of itself, where we can just blow everything up in seconds with no thought or skill.

But if they nerf it, it'll be useless, and the widow/black widow/ n7 valiant will still be the best and all the other sniper rifles will be useless. So that's not really balanced at all.

This will never not be a ridiculous, facepalm-worthy counter-argument.

"Hey guys, it's a co-op game! Nothing should be nerfed! We should all WANT the game to be as easy as possible! We should start a petition so Bioware gives us an infinite-use button that we can press to IMMEDIATELY kill all the enemies on the map, and skip all the waves, and give us all the exp and credits in 5 seconds.. FLAT. That would be the best balance update and the best game ever!"

That is exactly what Single Player was like...

I like a "uniform experience" when I am enjoying the "artistic integrity" of video games.

Nerfing the gun would be nerfing its integrity to be artistic in its own way of blowing chunks of enemies all over the map in the fastest time possible.
