As to the argument that it makes the game too easy and thereby less fun...this is true if you chose to use this gun. The solution? Don't use this gun. So what if everybody else in your team uses the gun. Now you have a new, perhaps more difficult challenge--try to outscore them with whatever you want to use instead.
As to the idea that once everybody gets this gun and finds out its potential, everybody will use it, thereby limiting the diversity of players in the game. I don't really see this happening. Right now the three best guns, depending on class, are arguably the BW, carni and gps. I don't see every asari adapt I run into using the carni. In fact, if anything I see a lot more people on these forums complaining about adapts using sniper rifles than asaris using carnis. Different guns synergize well with different classes and builds--all except for the GPS, that works with pretty much everything. But I still don't see that many GPSs.
Finally, you can always play with a group of friends that don't use the gun. Or you can make a community group with other people who don't want to use the gun.

I must admit I really don't understand the desire to nerf the gun. It seems selfish.
I tried my Krysae X again tonight and don't even like the gun. Don't see anything OP here, and tried the Reegar too. Clip runs empty so quick on the Reegar and its range is serious bad. The Krysae has a small clip too, it was a real problem getting enemies killed for my Vorcha to get any bloodlust stacks using the Krysae. Didn't even extract in the game I used the Krysae in. And I was getting more melee kills with my Kroguard using the Reegar as a battering weapon... clip ran out so had to finish the job with melee!
The problem is that some people are just too good and they spoil the fun for everyone else. Hopefully Bioware learns to ignore these folks.

With the right builds, yes. I've used a Viper on an AJA to great effect on gold.
This is the ultimate proof why your views just don't reflect the average player out there, and your calls for balance are totally unwarranted. Not everyone is as good a player as you are, and if they balanced everything in the game using the standards of top players, then the game will be horribly unbalanced for the average player.
Can you just stop pretending to be all about balance, because your sense of balance is not an average balance but an elite sense of balance.

I immensely enjoy using the Krysae. I must admit, using a max damage infiltrator with rank 6 tac cloak made it hilariously fun to turn enemies into meat/synthetic giblets.
That's what it's all about. Infiltrators are designed to be able to do it, and it's their unique strength about them. They have no biotics, and tech bursts only go so far. Being able to use TACTICAL Cloak to gain a damage bonus for striking unseen is pretty standard as far as stealth-based attacks in games go. Having a weapon that packs a good punch - as an anti-materiel rifle should - only makes them more useful.
I suppose if the Incisor/Raptor/Indra were more powerful, those would be considered broken?

The javelin really doesn't fill a useful niche.
it's not a bad gun, it's just outperformed for every relevant purpose other than having a decent sniper rifle on a krogan sentinel w/o points in incinerate or something.
I find the Javelin quite useful, especially with a GI against Reaper. A well placed PM and you can one-shot Brutes with the right equipment. Have yet to find another gun that can do this. Ravagers just melt, too and it's a more than welcome sight against banshees. Sure, in a statistic kind of way there are other guns that might have bigger DPS in specific cases. But sometimes all you need is one hit. Plus, if it were purely statistic, you could just as well have the weapons like in ME1, were every gun felt the same and had not distinction.

I completely agree. The Gi Javelin is my very best class so how then can it not fill a niche. I take it Grimy can't snipe with it, not a big deal just be honest about it. Everyone has struggles with a gun or two, I for one can't use the Kishock effectively. I don't know if it's the scope or because I have to charge it; however, I would not deture anyone from using it.

i say that cause the main people screaming for 'balance' of weapons/classes/powers are said gold players.
Did you have any evidence to back this statement up, or did you pull that sentence from the usual place?
I play gold exclusively and really couldn't care less whether this weapon gets a buff or nerf.
