i finished the game and read all the text abouty what happened to my companions etc but i was disappointed to not even see single sentence about what happened to my mabari warhound who i had throughout the entire game.
even a single line that alastair or another companion had given it shelter might have sufficed, except i got sod all.
why is this the case?
question about the human noble ending *obvious spoilers*

Did you sacrifice yourself? If so, than yes this is normal.
You could always imagine that he went back with Fergus to Highever.

I think there is a brief scene of him roasting on a spit in the alienage, isn't there? Or maybe it's the Dalish camp.

You made that up. Right? Right.
I haven't ever seen this scene. And if I ever do, I promise, I will side with the werewolves every time, from now on. Because the elves will have clearly deserved death.

yeah i did sacrifice myself, but the dog didnt. he wasnt even in my party when i encountered the arch demon.
this is another continuity slip up ive seen in this game. shame really, although it doesnt spoil the game too much its an oversight i dont like to see and really makes no sense. i care more about the dog than i did hearing shale was seen wandering around the mountains chasing pidgeons.

Dog was a favorite character, I missed his appearance at the end as well. He brought me an awesome staff at Lothering, old cake, dirty pants, part of sword, liked Morrigan, harassed Alistair (my boy-toy), and marked his scent all over Ferelden. I would have allowed him to keep the kid, if the road wasn't so dangerous, we needed a decent cook and another armor shiner in camp.
