Went in to play Dragon Age only to find my game saves have vanished! Incredibly angry! Don't s'poss there's saves at certain points I can download or a way to skip the beginning bit?
My save suddenly disappeared!

What system are you playing on? If this is some sort of a bug, then perhaps you need to contact support, or search the DA:O technical forum to see if anyone else has had your problem. But if you seek help, you need to include info on your system in your post.
As for saves, how far into the game were you? And what DLCs / mods do you have? And again, what system, PC, or some console? I assume that if someone with lots of mods that change things in the game sends a save, or someone that's played thorugh a DLC you don't have and has items from it sends a save, it's not going to work for you.

It's the Ultimate edition so all DLC + Expansion. I would say atleast 15hrs game time

You have posted what appears to be a Tech-type issue in the wrong forum (this one). However, it is a fact that so few readers are in attendance on the DA:O Tech Forum that days can pass before anyone drops in with an answer. You need to click on the REPORT button, aplogize, and request that this one be locked, or combined with the one in the other forum about DLC problems. No matter that it is often ineffectual, the official support is always there at EA Help.
