Please stop N7 matchmaking!

Why? Matchmaking. Every time I host a game, without fail, the people who join are within 20 or so N7 levels of me. And that's if it bothers to fill up at all.
When I create a game with a friend or two, the other people who join will have an N7 level that's just a few ranks away from being the averaged value of my N7 level with those of my friends.
Bioware, this is NOT cool. It is not beneficial. Please. Please. Get rid of it.

And yeah, it would be nice, but it takes forever for those of us with higher N7 ranks to fill a lobby.

Really? I thought it was tied to the patch. Huh.

Maybe a better system would be to lock the difficulty levels until you reach so many extractions on the lower level.

I'm not seeing it. I'm getting plenty of matches with people in the 100s, 200,s double digits, 1000s and so on while being N7 689. The matchmaking seems a little slower, though.
Make note of the N7s that are in the lobby when you join and then do the math to find the average-- you may find that your N7 falls close to that average.
Someone else pointed this out in the other thread. It reminded me that yesterday I joined up with an N7 14 and an N7 410 or so. My N7 is 218.

If it's matchmaking it needs to stop.
If it's a population decrease I need to find something else fun to play.

Fairly sure it's matchmaking. It cannot be coincidental that I see other PC users with N7s above 1000+ complaining about this, which means they're obviously playing, and I haven't come across one of them. If there were a population decrease it'd be easier to find a 1000+ player in a random lobby, in fact I'd probably be stumbling over them over and over. Instead I'm running into the same players over and over around my own level.

I don't think so, it was fine before the patch/dlc.

I had no problem with low N7's who were capable, and a lot of higher ups are terrible. This is a very, very bad adjustment, Bioware, please undo it immediately.

Yes, I actually enjoy the rescue/revive operations.
So the matchmaking isn't terrible merely for long lobby times, its terrible for making silver less challenging for those who simply erred in trying out a lot of different builds.
