Last night I had the most successful pug (PC) gold runs ever. Not a single failure to report in a string of 6 consecutive games which is quite amazing since it does not always happen this way with friends (my friends list is 20-30 long). Lowest ever rocket & consumable use too.
Everyone knew what to do and did it well - not perfect but well. Almost everyone had microphones. Almost everyone said "Thank you" when revived. It was an amazing experience that resembled a private game. I could not believe it !!!
What was unique and striking about it? Well, whether it means anything or not to some, EVERYONE in the lobbies had high N7 ranks (1000+).
So, I would say this to Bioware: Please, PLEASE *DO NOT* bring back the old system as it was!!!!
If you make any changes, make it so that at least lobby leaders have a choice of setting the N7 ranking limits they wish to have in the team.I do not mind playing silver with anyone regardless of N7 Ranking, but after experiencing what I have of the last few days I DEFINITELY do not want to go back for any gold game playing. And yes, the lobbies take longer to fill-up so please make that better. However, I would rather wait an extra 10-15 minutes that to waste 20-30 in a failed gold match. While not ideal, this math is indisputable to me.
