And it's going well. Not a single mission fail.
..could be sheer luck though.

I hate to say it but the patch has ruined multiplayer for those of us with a higher N7 rank.
I'd venture to say it's ruined for everyone at every rank... but most especially for the people that play during less popular hours.
Even if the N7 grouping idea was good in the first place (consensus is: it's not) their playerbase is obviously not big enough for them to divide it like this without a negative affect on everyone's experiences.

I'mma keep doing this. Just had to pull a double shift today so I am not in a good mood.
There had better be some enemies ready to bleed tonight.

It's either a new matchmaking system or the multiplayer population has takena drastic hit.
If it's matchmaking it needs to stop.
If it's a population decrease I need to find something else fun to play.
It's the first one. I have the patch and either it takes forever to get a R/R/G, I get dummped into a game with any number of different N7 level players, most of which were looking for a Bronze game, and the Lobbies I have entered have been varied.
Their is no match making, and N7 5000 is not going ot have anyone to play with. Higher level Players leveling on Bronze, are going to find a real hard time finding a Match with their 2800 N7.
It's not match making, it's population loss, more players playing in private lobbies, people who still don't have the patch can't play, people who don't have the dlc can't play and EA had a massive world wide server crash. Not everyone is back online yet. Mix all that stuff together and that's what is going on in Pub.

Oh wait.
Also, I had a game where it took ages to go from ready to load the map and for the others to join me. Even though I was host.
So doubt they changed much in this area.

The matchmaking system is terribad... if you happen to have the same people online and they are bad, you can't leave and find some new game, it dumps you back with the same bunch! Then the higher up N levels can't find people at all. I found the only way I could get something different was to change enemy/map settings, and all in all, I haven't had any really good public games since the PC patch was released.
It truly is not an exaggeration to say that it totally ruins public MP games for me.

I see people like you doubting what's happening, and my question to you all is: How do you explain why I haven't come across the high N7 PC users complaining of this?
If it was simply population loss, I'd still be running across all the +1000 N7 people complaining about it. But no, I'm just getting stuck with people around my own N7, 218.
I'm seeing those same people, over and over, in completely different lobbies/match types. And I haven't seen the same high N7 person more than once. Every time I come across a high N7 it just so happens that the lobby's mean/average N7 level happened to be equal to (or close to) my own N7 level.

Well, I'm 130 atm and I keep joining the same lobby with the same single 150 player over and over again. U/U/G. No way this is the only lobby with a free spot...Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...
Haven't seen a convincing number of people to make me believe we have a N7 rating matchmaker now, but I DO have the problem of open lobbies taking aeons to fill up.
Just found a full lobby, guess what? All four players within 15 N7 ranks...
