U/U/G. Okay.
But don't tell me to stay in FBW/G/G. Or damned Dagger/Cerberus/Gold again.
Which are the only lobbies I can seem to find within my N7 grouping...<_<

They are still discussing. I bet the one who suggested that change now claims artistic integrity for it and Dr. Ray Muzyka will write us a letter where he says they can't rollback but will clarify the new system...
I sincerely doubt that will happen now that there's been such a devastating outcry from the community. If in the remote chance they do nothing at all but try to sell the new system, they'll lose many players. I don't think Bioware wants that to happen.
You sure where not on these forums in the release week of the game. I just made a sarcastic reference to what happened back than
.
And trust me, the outcry about the games ending was much bigger than this.
I was floating around; didn't post though. The outcry against the endings is STILL going on. The only difference is this multiplayer mechanism is an easy fix, whereas the endings required the company to justify their "artistic integrity".

Sometimes, if I host and start it, people join mid-match. But since not after the matchmaking change...
I've only played two matches today. Usually by now I'd have gone through five or more... this gets tiring.

Personally I think the smartest route would be a system based on # of successful extractions on each difficulty, or even better, how many times you've passed the wave 3/6/10 barrier on each difficulty. Obviously a player who has dozens of extractions on gold is much likelier to be better than one who only has extracted on bronze, N7 rating irrelevant.

A status update of sorts. I have not been able to get into even a single match all day. I've tried hosting and waiting, I've tried quick search, nothing. Even sat as host for an entire hour, only 1 person joined and then quit after about 5 minutes of waiting. (N7 1200)
I would join your game, but since I am only n7 1000 matchmaking wouldn't put me there.

I know this is a common problem, because later while just searching for random/random bronze put me into a silver match on a late round with only two people there, three times in a row! Later I tried gold, and I joined a match in progress with a single person. This is clearly broken.
I really hate this system. Barring a rollback, I wish I could lower my N7 score so I can actually play some games.

I've noticed this new system since last night. Throwing in my two cents, it is horrible. Roll it back, please, and don't try again until you've come up with an algorithm that makes sense (and preferably has nothing to do with N7 ranking, which is almost meaningless when it comes to an evaluation of player skill).

so the people that get disconnected due to bugs and crappy servers should be punished?
i dont get disconnected because i host mostly.
it needs to be a ping range or something, otherwise their will be a lot of people in certain brackets that cant play the game.
my N7 is over 3000 so should i not be able to play because the majority is in the 200 to 700 range?
basically right now me and my friend cant host a game because our retarded N7 number is too high.... we can host but nobody joins.
its fair right?
we host so we can play together without problems of getting lucky to find a lobby with room or get lucky and the 2nd person beats a random into the game, just so we can play together.

Is the main problem on PC? Because I really have not had a problem finding games on 360. It's actually been better than last few weeks for me. Good players too.

not saying my idea is perfect. But ANY idea is better than what they have now. Actually, the BEST thing to do would to be base it off of total XP, since it is directly correlated with both skill and time played. Of course, XP doesn't accumulate after level 20, but they can change that or keep track of it internally or something.

What is your N7 level Creighton? The system matches averages and since people don't promote after a certain level it's those of us higher up that are getting shafted. 360 also has the most players compared to the PC and PS3.

Won't work. You can buy packs with real money and the character cards drop class XP. XP like N7 is not a result of time and skill.
