Please stop N7 matchmaking!

Since a few days i noticed a very high increase of lag ruining the game experience for me.
It's realy frustrating when you are in cover on your screen but ennemy still hit you because of the lag, or multiple head shot that deal no damage at all, or my vanguard with a + 2 / 3 sec on cd making charge a one trip to hell since the lag will forbide another charge in time to recharge my shield (what's the point of my supossed cd being 3.08 sec when the lag make it above 5 or 6 sec).
Before that, i had laggy game about 1 out 5 or 1 out of 7 game. Now it's about 50% being a real pain, and i'm not talking about small lag where you can manage.
Now i just connect, try to see if it run smoothly.... too laggy ? disconnect, close ME3, do something else.
Sorry but i don't want to waste my time.
Anyway i see NO reasons for match making above a certain grade. N7 randking is absolutly NOT a pointer to skill, some people play the game extensively and doesn't care about promoting at all.
The only things that can be a pointer is when N7 is very low, so you know the player must not be very experienced (i didn't say he was bad) and without much stuff, but it stop here.
There is nothing chocking about N7 200 outperforming a N7 2000 on the same character with the same weapon. Most of my games include players with the same N7 ranking as me now, but at the end, the scores and difference are exatcly the SAME before N7 matching.

My patience has limits and I believe it is outdated. It's been three days that the multi is more than bad.

I don't see this as a problem really. You're better off not playing with people stupid enough to think N7 rating matters, so having them kick you is doing you a service.

Ps. The only time everything works ok is when you draw money from my account.

N7 only matters when you have less than 120, more or less, because it shows that you have not tried many of the characters or had time to find a decent weapon. Beyond that, it does not mean much if anything.
Maybe a better system would be to lock the difficulty levels until you reach so many extractions on the lower level.
Lol, reading the first page and I happened upon this shining golden beacon of "this thread is over his head."
Some folk love to jump at the chance to lecture about how N7 doesn't matter.

If it even matters at this point, I'm really unhappy with this new setup. I decided to try to play a little again this week, to see if I could finally get a Geth Engineer, and maybe some of the new characters. Over the last few days, I've consistently spent nearly as long trying to start a match as I have actually playing. And tonight, I've spent an hour and a half alternately trying to join or host a game, and in that *entire* time, I've been able to join exactly two matches. One dropped me into an in-progress game that was apparently supposed to be private, since the host shouted over the mic something like "How did you losers get in here?" and then quit. (Which of course resulted in "connection lost" and getting thrown back to the lobby.) The second was so incredibly laggy that I basically just started teleporting around the map at random, taking damage from attackers I couldn't even see. After the third time I died (and was almost immediately revived each time, so thank you to however was doing that for making the attempt) I just quit.
I'm really not sure what someone was thinking when they decided to add matchmaking based on N7 rank. It's a completely useless number. In my case, it results in me getting kicked or insulted by both skilled and newbie players. I prefer to play in Bronze, because frankly, I'm not comfortable playing even at Silver difficulty. But since I have an N7 rating of about 500, I've been accused of... well, I'm not sure, both of them didn't have their mic adjusted properly. But I know they were upset at me, and that my N7 rating and level 20 characters had something to do with it.
At the same time, I've joined matches that turned out to be Silver or Gold. And invariably get yelled at because I have poor weapons, or they don't like the class I'm playing, or they just generally decide I'm not awesome enough to be there. (As for how I've ended up in Silver or Gold matches before this patch, I have no idea. I search for random/random/bronze, but I've still ended up in higher difficulty matches a few times.) And to be honest, *I* don't think I have any business in Silver or Gold matches. I can do ok in Silver, in the sense that I don't die constantly and I don't *think* I'm obviously getting people killed. But for me to kill something with a headshot is sheer luck, not something I can do at will. (I can sort of manage with an unscoped Carnifex, but every time I've tried to use the single-shot sniper rifles, I just end up wasting bullets and usually getting killed.)
To be perfectly honest, if there was a way to reset N7 rating to zero and start over, I'd do it in a heartbeat and stop at 120. I only promoted because I wanted to try new builds and didn't have any respec cards, and to take advantage of the first "promotion" weekend event. Now I'm stuck with an N7 high enough that other players assume I must be more skilled than I actually am. Not to mention the fact that, since I've only ever played Bronze consistently, I suspect I'm actually pretty under-equipped. I certainly don't have enough consumables to used them constantly - what credits I have earned, I've spent on Specter and Premium packs to try to unlock the different characters.
My rank is over 1600, but it is soo hard finding anyone when I am on. I don't really care about the rank, I play for fun. The main reason I promote is either because I am playing with low level ppl with low lvl characters and feel my lvl 20 is just too powerful for them to enjoy the game if I don't promote it. Or I just get tired of playing a maxxed character and want to start it over since I can't lvl it more, or I just want to try something new.
As I is, it is now very hard to play if none of my friends are on. I may have to add more forumites as friends just so I can play. Even though I am fine with randoms of various lvls. I shouldn't been punished because of my rank or the fact that I normally can't play until late in the evening or night.

After all the "herb derp" and kicking people based on their N7 level, it seems like the only viable solution to me. It sucks that it takes a long time to get a game, but it probably improves the experience for new players so they aren't turned off by the elitism.
To clarify: Can you think of another solution to the problem of people kicking people because their N7 is too low? I
Make Bronze the default difficulty setting. Also, N7 doesn't matter but there is a huge difference between a level 1-5 in a Silver match using a GPS IX and the same level player using an Avenger II and a Shuriken III. New players are easy to spot.

1) simply don't show N7 rating at all. Maybe in the end score screen after extraction, but not in the lobby.
2) set the find-lobby feature to BRONZE on default instead of ANY

won't be playing tonight. i don't like waiting for 10 mins to start a full team. i don't like having to settle for whatever comes to the lobby if its gold. i don't like having to start just 2 then hope for reinforcements. game is no fun now. will be monitoring the forums to see if they change the n7 matchmaking system back to playable.
Again, please fix.

People will always find a way to slap labels on others and categorize based off generalizations. Unless you want to patch the human psyche, this issue will always be prevalent amongst some individuals. That doesn't mean that just because some people kick because of N7 rank that everyone does it.
Not only that, but there are other reasons why people kick. Maybe it's because a level 1 Vanguard wants to play gold, or maybe someone decided it would be a great idea to put a Black Widow and Claymore on an Adept. Those are reasons for kicks right there. So what do you say to that? Are you saying Bioware should implement a new system that pairs people with similar weapons and equipment, too?
The way this new mod works, people are no longer kicked for having lower rankings, but they're still being punished all the same. It's reverse punishment; now higher ranks can't get into matches because lobbies won't fill. This new mod is worse than simply kicking for rank because it's an integrated part of the system whereas kicks are due to the human variable.
To summarize: only a small percentage of people kick because of rank. This fact, therefore, makes this new matchmaking mod useless and ineffective.

Still, up until now I was enjoying things; finally competent and capable to try silver more often. Not quite gold level yet, and i still make the occasional "schoolboy error". So please, if possible, resolve this 'matchmaking issue'.
